I've booked pay restaurants individually. Last sale, they all went up $2 each, not much. Today each one is up another $5 each. So $7 each x 5 bookings. Each sale they raise the price. Got a lot of izumi lol. Even taste of royal is up $7, just in the last month or so.

Suites half priced tomorrow .. lol.

12 GS suites sounds costly to me, one a year or not. I saw someone mention JS on adventure approaching $5k. .. and GS even more costly. I'm not sure what a average cost is for them right now. Could also cost over 100k for 12 GS suites.

The 2 in the non suite cant partake of the suite drinks. Not unless as you say you switch them before the cruise into the GS. I think one name on each booking needs to remain the same. ..and as you mentioned takes the folks now booked out of the ck for meals.

If your credit card says it's not posted, not much you can do about it. Wait and see. Give it a few days.

I'm so happy you made it there without huge incidents. Your furniture wasnt broken and arrived early intact. I will be so happy to just grt there like you. I'm just glad you can relax now and work on the house at your own pace. Awesome.

That's where im heading in a few. But cinn area, countryside. My cousin volunteers at heavenward horse camp and I'm probably staying long enough to go help her get the kids on horses riding. I'm not sure how often she goes but seems most mornings. We will also go see the nature preserve and see birds and flowers. Your pictures are beautiful. It's a nice area and looks very green.

I have as many rcl cruises and twice as many.. so doesnt matter to me how many cruises you have taken. I've read they have a pasta dish nightly. This to me means one less dish I can eat. I have seen great deals, dont care how service is .. I dislike italian spices. And pasta etc.. I just can't stand it. I almost did a Panama cruise on msc but chickened out because I was worried I'd go hungry. I am a picky eater. Some nights on rcl I dont eat much. Just unwilling to take the chance. Again i dont care about the price, service etc if i hate the food. I thought that was clear and you came back talking about the things other than food .. seems if you defended other things and not the food, I'm right. MSC not for me. Enjoy. Something for everyone.

Any threads say the same .. anything but a bathing suit. I had a table mate show up in nice shorts on a dress up night. Nothing was said. Wear what feels comfortable. No matter which ship. We had another gal whose luggage got lost so she had to buy tee shirts in the onboard stores for formal night. None asked her when she came in.

I don't eat italian or any pasta or cooked tomatoes. I thought about it, but I know I'd have a even harder time finding what I want to eat. No thanks. Have fun.

Well I learned something. Didnt know it included the pay lobster in the Mdr. Good deal.

Translated if you are solo and book a cabin for 2 people you will pay a deposit for 2 people, but fees and taxes for 1 pax. If I book direct my deposit on a normal 7 day cruise is $250, but to book a refundable group rate I pay a deposit of $500. It's still a good deal, but solo pays deposit for 2.

The magic number can be 1. There can be a group for just you or the TA thru his agency has access most of the time to groups already formed. My caveat is I'd like something outside the group but want the groups refundable deposits. For instance a 4D aft corner, the group offered 2Ds not 4D group pricing. Every cabin you might prefer isnt able to get group pricing. Or I've seen one agency have boardwalk and outside view oasis class balconies. My TA had central park and outside view balconies. But prices are lower.

Several of his posts say this... you can tell hes reading from what travel agents see. .. "his clients" .. Clearly he is asking rcl for specifics. After I get moved I hope to treat myself to a suite but for now refundable only for me.

You do realize hes a TA so of course his sources are better than us lay people. Hes talking to rcl directly not a phone rep with limited training. I'd love to splurge on a suite, but I'm moving ... I want refundable only right now. ..but km following along. ...sounds like another way for rcl to keep your money. ..keeps me from jumping on a suite.

Idk if there is any rhyme or reason. I was disappointed my 10 day radiance and mariner werent less. Galveston. ... but all my PC bookings are great deals. I knew my 8 days out of Galveston to coco cay would only go up, but now I think it hits around when I move. Out of florida cruises to coco cay arent special. They are a dime a dozen. Out of Galveston selling like hot cakes.

Some group rates save a lot and some very little. I just added 4, mariner saved about $40, the others on adventure out of PC saved hundreds. Also just started DP340 or I dont think I'd be booking. Xmas on adventure 2024 is a holiday but the code works. Maybe xmas out of PC isnt that popular. Hope to be moved by then. Rcl hasnt has good last minute rates like carnival used to. Let me know if there is a bargain.

What kind of Avenue to find better prices. P,ease give me a hint.

Ok I thought I read about it on the new changes complaint thread. I also had it the 2nd night on all 3 of my 5 night grandeur cruises when I didnt expect it. I guess I'm easily confused.

Oasis I was never given a choice. Evidently I was at the end of his morning route noon to 1 pm. About when I wanted to come back to the cabin. Not morning or evening. Mine never introduced himself either like the olden days. Hard to find him in fact the time I did have a question. Hopefully you are correct and there is a choice another ship.

Order a steak entree and a lobster. That's what all the men did at my table, order 2 entrees. The strip steak isnt bad. I like the garlic butter, but it also comes with gravy. Though just can have one entree at a time usually. Now its maine lobster. My last one was bigger. Not a bad size but the one before wasnt bigger.

Idk what it was at what date but it was changed lately from the first dress up night to the second. We think fewer people show up for the second is why it's now stated by rcl it will be on the 2nd dress up night. Most lately right after covid it was the first dress up night. I cant remember before covid.

She posted she was charged for TWO dinners, then charged half and 2nd dinner at Giovanni was free. No idea why charged for 2 dinners then charged half. ..that's a new one.

Lobster night is now the 2nd dress up night so you can plan to not miss it. Deck 8 was schooners piano at night on oasis I think, it's the boardwalk level in the aft. I dont think there are DJs but we had a very good knock off band we were lucky to have. Bands dont stay long with ships so no telling who you will get. Rcl is supposedly doing something new for that age group, 18 to 21, forget the name. Not sure it's on all ships or it's going over well. None of those pay venues have a upcharge, unless you order something that costs extra. Chops lobster says 1.5 lbs from maine and has a upcharge.
