  1. Idk why but even your link says Jamie's. But I'm booked. Yea.
  2. Interesting. The line on allure was over a hour every time I waited .. twice for something he should have fixed the first week, not made me come back for the same thing 2nd week. Not impressed with the ones I've met so far. How hard is it to select fruit truffles every time I cruise. I keep getting random bottles of wine.
  3. Grandeur the paper in our cabin specifically said we could not use for izumi or chefs table. Some other ships did not exclude it. Vardy by ship.
  4. I'm looking. Lunch is 16.99 Anyone know the menu for lunch. I'm not a huge Italian fan, but like the dinner filet.
  5. I also had a gty and checked in. That's not why she cant check in.
  6. You are assuming I didnt ask at the desk onboard. Of course I asked and was told it was weather related, we had 6 ft waves and couldn't dock. They said they were not refunding port fees. I wouldnt have written without first asking onboard. Originally we had grand Cayman and Jamaica and cozumel. Grand Cayman and Jamaica were changed to costa maya and Belize .. twice. That's why mine dropped a lot. . And then we missed costa maya. We got back $0.00. I asked onboard and was told nothing would be refunded.
  7. Cheaper than a suite, not cheapest. Liberty has lots of connecting promenade cabins often with prices almost the same as cheapest inside.
  8. If all cruiselines did it then it wouldn't be expected imo. Carnival for instance does give it back as obc all the time. A actual consistent policy.
  9. I've had ports change and port fees drop. You dont get those back. Twice iv had fairly large fees drop. I even wrote to mbayley and they replied since we dont charge more if they go up, we dont have a policy fleetwide to price match. I also missed a port of the 3 lower priced ports. No refund. It's up to the ship. @Ourusualbeachwill tell you. If its fees too bad, so sadm bye bye. No refund. Yes a ship can refund some port fees if you miss a port, but not obligated.
  10. I'm not the person you quoted but my quotes include fees and taxes, not tips. I send off for stock obc which about covers my tips plus often ta or other obc. Personally I didnt get solo discount on my dec b2b, but going forward now with solo discount and diamond plus and refundable group rates, rcl is cheaper than I can book any other cruiseline. I got double pts in dec or might have been tempted to cancel one leg. That one wasnt a good price, but my next 9 on rcl imo are decent prices. Those $100 a day prices during hurricane season I used to book are sadly gone. A balcony at $150 a day or less now with the solo discount. Otherwise I might be booking elsewhere. As a solo, rcl beats others prices. I am loyal to my pocket book and mostly drive to the port. Book a hotel with free cruise parking.
  11. I think $2800 for a balcony for 11 nights sounds decent to me. Probably some more unusual ports with a 11 night. .. would depend on ports for me.
  12. I'm allergic to coconut. Makes me throw up. Just because you like them lol .. not everyone. Mud slides or a few times I've seen some new nut cookies. Luckily cookies come in more than 1 flavor. Allure got crazy in the cafe with putting coconut on the eclairs every other day. What a disappointment.
  13. True. Though I was surprised they did fancy looking dessert night on lobster night. I tried a rice Krispy treat and would have liked it left alone. They cut it in half with some icky creme between.
  14. The cheapest excursions were last black friday some dates were 35% off. Mixed feelings as I had a really popular one for 15 % off I cancelled and switched for a 35% off. The 15 % off one is long sold out and the $20 difference probably makes little difference and it's a port I've never been too. I did get a little cheap one also 35% off .. long sold out. Everyone grabbed that one. I hardly drink dont follow drinks, just food and excursions. Not all dates went that low. I had some last sept at 30% off. That's the best I'd seen before .. and just that date, last sept. One of those really good, one so so, and one I cancelled. No rhyme or reason.
  15. This cant be a huge surprise that it was coming. I see my jan 30 radiance was the first radiance with the new menu changes. Been plenty of threads lobsters will be limited. 2 sounds good but I'll take whatever they have. Order 2 shrimp appetizers?
  16. Just go in knowing it's a older ship. Does tampa not have room under the bridge for newer ships? They seem to get more older ships than other ports.
  17. I hope they keep the WJ the same. I like the WJ. I read celebrity cut their buffet, carnival certainly has. It's my go to dinner when I dont like the menu. I'm picky and didnt like the old menu overly much. I've heard HAL food is good though I haven't tried HAL.
  18. I'm really sorry to hear this. I saw someone post they booked this, and had some mobility issues for my 1/30 radiance which I missed. Their write ups are so lacking. Carnival posts some reviews. Idk why rcl doesnt. I had one last sept over 2 hanging bridges not mentioned. If you don't like heights it was a issue and should be mentioned. So sorry ... and it wasn't even that cheap what you booked. .. a movie.
  19. There are actually 2 kinds of balcony gty you can book. One says neighborhood balcony gty I assume you booked. While anything is possible it's not probable to get a ocean view.
  20. Some excursions for 2024 likely arent out yet. I did the eco monkey in roatan and enjoyed it.
  21. Have you had the new menus or just posting? I just read someone saying dont pre judge, they loved the new menus. I've booked thru 2024 and will wait to book more. Lots of life changes more so than the prices. I might even neve to Florida sooner rather than later. I'm supposed to be cruising now but broke my wrist and other big issues.
  22. Just saw this. My journey cruise is a year later, 1/13/24. Hope it was fabulous.
