I dont have the link but do be sure and also google for a code for up to $20 off. It's quite expensive imo. The $20 off codes have been easy to find, but idk if they go into 2023. Even ezcruise parking I heard was quoting $155. Many are using lighthouse. Fewer shuttles but cheaper lately. Lots of grumbling about how high parking is lately.

You can get 1 can of coke or Sprite lol Not worth calling about until you get to choose a amenity imo.

I ordered the works minus chilli. Havent had scrambled eggs in years which they now mix with the potatoes. The eggs werent scrambled hard enough for my tastes. Should have gone back. Had only done oasis twice when it was quite new, so adding scrambled eggs was different. A lot less potatoes and onions and peppers than when I had it before. Too early in the morning for chilli for me. Would go again. Just make sure I ask them to scramble the eggs hard, not runny.

I just think of it as 1 for regular, 1 for solo and 1 for a suite, JS or above. 3 total possible.

What I am finding out of Galveston, other than some random in and out princess cruises this winter, with low solo subsidies... everything else is higher. If I am booking harmony balconys for 8 days cheaper than 8 days in a inside on carnival dream. 7 days cheaper than vista or other ships I dont care about. And ncl prima .. double what rcl wants, though yes it's more inclusive. It's the cheapest rates. Even the new higher 2024 rates ... still less. MSC yes is going to build a pier, might be there in 3 to 5 years. .. right now rcl is the best prices. Above I meant to say I hate sept heat ... not all times of year...I missed the word sept. I'm a winter cruiser. That's why rcl can get by with higher prices. Go look at ncl. If you get loyalty discounts, beats carnival prices. My bet is people will pay the higher prices. My 10 day radiance cruise to Panama the price is up not down. I'm also betting the new 8 day to coco cay will be a success. Rcl is the best deal price wise if you have loyalty discounts. Ncl prima is crazy.

I have to admit I keep swearing no more texas cruises out of Galveston. It's too hot. I hit Galveston and the humidity and heat, so hot and I say not next year. Nope ... .and then the price was so good a few months ago I couldnt say no.

Even princess is giving me better prices. I'm loyal to my wallet. To me carnival is mostly luring casino players. My friend who went with me complained how hard it was to even get on a machine. Was a prime or something casino week. So many casino offers hard to book and miss them. To say carnival doesnt need to lure people back with loyalty perks is just a nonsense statement. Lots are booking becaus of cheap casino rates. That's who they cater to. Princess is offering lower solo supplements out of Galveston.. each gives offers to lure in who they want. To claim price makes no difference .. does to me.

Yes it happens on royal that you can book dinners with reps who want to sell you pay dinners when you board. Often there is a station in the promenade, but have seen them in WJ too. They want to help you spend your money.

Yes. I wait until midnight to sign in for rest of the cruise as that's when they change the price to one day less charged.

A couple of rows on one side in the front were marked reserved for mama mia, though they dont reserve the times. For suites and pinnacles. At 15 minutes before the reserved signs were removed. Idk if some weeks have more show times than others. I had trouble fitting in the comedy show.

I was tempted by some good prices on princess in jan, but my mom isnt doing well, so I'm staying home. I started with princess. Carnival was later. I agree carnival needs to up its game for perks. The 4 drinks is nice but dont forget for both of you to use your free 24 hours of wifi as a rcl diamond. I also like the bogo I get on pay restaurants.. carnival diamond a one time free steak house visit vs every cruise I get a bogo on rcl. And it brings in extra income for rcl. I know .. another thread. But carnival could easily bring in more income with some perks. My 14 day dream goes to aruba curacao and costa rica and Panama and Columbia. I had a hard time picking which cruise. .. but that date worked best. Carnival my 14 day skips the B on abc islands but still nice. I picked it for the ports. Excursions will cost a mint. Carnival goes where I want. Some cruises for the ports, some I book for the ship. If only carnival would up their game for loyalty. Not just discount to attract casino.

It's more than that. I can book dec 2023 or dec 2024 on harmony. Harmony prices for dec 2024 are increased over $200 for insides and balconys starting prices. Same ship, same time a week before xmas which my friend wants. .. rcl came in higher for 2024. Starting prices. Lol but I'll pay it, because my friend wants that date. The closer in dec 2023 is lower priced right now vs 2024. I think they raised prices and want to see if it floats.

It still cuts off at 24 hours. It doesnt just give you 24 hours of user time...its 24 hours .. if that's what you pick. I pick until the end of the cruise. Its 24 hours time on a clock.

That's how you redeem your discount. You go to their ircl site and choose what you want to apply the discount to. Click yes ... and it is applied. Easy to apply but you decide how you want to apply it and what days. Later in the cruise I see it discounted and do it then.

I just couldnt pay 14k for a cruise. I know people who book suites but they just got too high. As a solo I dont value the extra space, maybe if I was cruising with someone romantic I would book suites. $2500 for a aft excel sounds like a awesome price that even I'd go for. Obviously I need to gamble more. My issue with carnival is they dont reward loyalty like rcl. I find it hard to pay several hundred more for a inside on carnival over what i can book a inside balcony on rcl. Plus rcl throws in 5 drinks a day and 2 plus days of free wifi i miss when i do carnival. Carnival just costs more. The newer oasis class ships have so many balconies, often a inside balcony is cheaper for me than a inside cabin on carnival by hundreds of dollars. Lol dec 10 2023 a inside balcony was cheaper than a inside cabin on harmony by $18. With my $250 balcony discount ... and then solo discount. .. carnival isnt competitive for me. I'm perfectly willing and wanting carnival, just wouldnt pay extra. Carnival wants newbies. Rcl encourages loyalty, carnival doesnt with their perks. I keep hoping carnival has a deal for me. People make fun of me for defending carnival.

I saw that but never did any of those for celebrity. I used tier matching on celebrity from rcl so if I cruise more on celebrity I stay the same tier until my pts catch up. When cruises restarted I did vista with cheers at pre covid prices. Way over priced but I didnt want to bother my ta to price match, so maybe got a bad start. Then the b2b breeze and rcl was doing some super cheap deals I missed. Rcl brought in independence then changed 7 to 8 days, but I was booked on breeze when they got such good deals. Then I found out rcl would give a solo discount so I chased rcl pts. But now it makes no difference. Whatever is the best deal. I'd prefer something a little different at this pt. The 14 day dream takes me to new ports. I'm not a fan of rcl 2024 prices but they added harmony 8 days to coco cay and dec is with friends. Either I'm burning out or just ready for new itineraries. I'm also looking to book a ncl prima but after final payment when the costs for the extras fall off. Lol free flight for 2nd pax does nothing for me. MSC is building a new terminal at Galveston. More and more choices. Maybe I'm burning out. Got sick last 2 cruises didnt help.

I did the sky ride. Too much excitement for me. They closed it down right after I got on so I went around by myself. Got around the bend and hit the wind and it blew the car swinging sideways. Looked up and still connected, so started back pedaling. In my mind I never considered how much those rides can swing in the wind. Once was enough. At least I can say I did it. Dream up next, only good spa cabins and rope course that class. Did breeze b2b last year, not dream. 1 year 14 days. With jubilee cancelling .. jubilee not until after dream looks like for carnival.
