This is rated as one of the top of the line samsung gaming tablets. There is no problem with memory or storage. I used this tablet on my last 13 rcl cruises since covid, including dec 4 and dec 11 allure. It worked without any issues. The problem is when I went to open it suddenly this week it says over and over to accept the new terms and wouldnt accept them so I uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall it. When I click to go install it ... there is no app shown. Below where the app is as I showed above it says not compatible with this device. This is what I see when I click to go to google play to download the app .. no app.

This was the one area where carnival was kinda sorta cheaper than the others. I do get bogo on rcl so not really, but if I didnt get that perk it would be cheaper. I used to brag on carnivals pay restaurant prices. It was the only cheaper thing left. Now they match rcl in tips. I count all the cost when deciding who has the better deal. Carnival trying to price themselves out of the market. I got the email too, my carnival not until January 2024. They keep emailing asking if I want to make payments and pay early lol.

This trouble with invoices was just today. I am sure my TA will get me the invoice as soon as he can. As I said above he told me he had issues with invoices on some bookings he did at 8 am this morning he still was waiting on.

The 9 in my signature are group prices with the solo discount applied and all refundable deposits u til final is paid. There is a popup for $50 for new bookings, I asked my ta about today and he said the $50 off isnt combinable with the dp340, only one discount code can be used per booking. I was surprised the code for solo worked last minute. For a Jan 30th cruise. I had been previously booked on that cruise but cancelled and moved it to march 27. I got the pts for 340 in sept, and group bookings lost their hold on cabins and I was told couldnt apply it to that date .. lol and today it worked. For less money. Lost the group obc but got a much better price ... and get to do it again march 27. Anyway, i have 9 that match your criteria I'm booked on.

No but there used to be a phone number to call and press a digit and they would email it. Dont know if it's still working. I did book today and my ta mentioned he has had trouble with some invoices today, he would send mind later.

If I learn how to use data and download on my phone I'd be all set. Lol there is a good reason I've been using my tablet .. I know how to use it. Oh well. Not much I can do sounds like. But thanks if I figure out data on my phone then I probably could use my phone lol. Hahahaha. Maybe they will fix it.

Thanks. I just use my phone for texting and phone calls, not real comfortable with it. I use a land phone at home. Not sure how to make my cell phone download stuff. .. I tried uber and couldnt sign in. Went back to my tablet. Well nothing I can do. I'll use whatever from the online site. If I was real tech I wouldnt be using a tablet lol. They cut off those who need it .. thanks rcl IT.

Lol I cant even get the download to come up to do anything in google store Looks like no app for me. Why would rcl make it so tablets dont work. Crazy.

I went into the app and it kept saying click here to agree to our new terms .. clicked and clicked. Wouldnt move on. So I uninstalled the app and trying to reinstall it. Says not compatible with my tablet that I've been using. How do I work around this. Here is what I get when trying to reinstall the app.

I booked Halloween night for 3 shows, then heard if I went in from the online planner I could book the comedy show, so I had 4 shows booked more than a month out. I dont know of anyone who had trouble getting the pay restaurants of their choice. None I know did chops, they all wanted 150 or izumi etc. Cant say if chops is hard to book. WJ had really good ribs the last night and 2 kinds of wings. I would skip the Mdr. The night before was lobster night and it was cooked so so to me, tasted like it wasnt cooked enough idk .. but I went up to the WJ and it was a special dessert display. Rcl version of chocolate special? Very pretty. Night 2 in WJ had baked cod that was food. Mdr failed me, they never got around to assigning me a seat. B2b and I even requested if I could sit at a table with others. Fail from me for Mdr for floor supervisors both weeks. I did the 29 central park balcony that is double long if you want pictures, and then moved to the end of boardwalk. That cabin is high demand and was taken when I moved from another date to the b2b. Dive show screen did a lot of sports. I wasnt thrilled, very loud. Sunday football, then 2 days of soccer, then sat was college football. I'd prefer music or movies. What else do you want to know about. I tried johnny rockets once for breakfast.

Lol I paid quite a bit imo for my b2b on allure I just did in dec. I had originally thought once I get the 340 pts for the solo discount of course they would apply to all future cruises. Pushed and got them in sept but meanwhile had to pay for dec. So it was paid off. I dont see anywhere where these rules are either, that you cannot apply a solo discount once you pay a cruise in full. Theres lots of these secret rules. Rcl isnt straightforward like other lines. But the perks are very good once you get there going forward. I just booked a great deal. Doesnt do any good woulda shoulda coulda. I've been so mad at carnival I said never again during Ike the hurricane. But eventually came back. They dont care. Rcl has more hoops than other lines. Some take delight learning them. It's like a secret language. Lol

I too looked the day they came out and booked as soon as my TA got the rates. Rates up with 30% or the same with the 550 off sale. But were already high imo for 2024. I have seen some deals close in, so sometimes it pays to check close in. Ncl drops their extras and will be less. I posted a allure deal a couple of weeks ago and seeing deals in January. Princess bringing in a ship just for jan and rcl will have a 3rd ship in Galveston for a few months imo why close in prices are on sale. Princess had 20% solo supplement. If he can I just told my ta to rebook a cruise I cancelled and moved to march lol .. and cancelled my hotel room. Now it's on sale. Rcl wouldnt have 3 ships competing after this, was just because a ship didnt go down under and got delayed.

Only works up to a point. I couldnt figure it out. About half my cruises were before the 1 pt per day current system. And half of the old ones fell off so I cant see them. I have to call for the really old ones in my history. Depends how long you been cruising. It took me 20 years to get here but I havent been loyalty to just rcl.

From what I read brillance didnt dock until 5 pm. I'd guess many missed flights. Boarding of course super late but maybe the ship left before midnight. The downside to flying.

Sorry you feel like you took a 3 day cruise for no reason. I did 4 legs on grandeur to get to 340 pts in sept rather than dec. It did what I expected though logically I havent saved as much on my 9 future bookings as the 4 legs cost me. But I did get the pts from cruising, I think 44. Needed 43 or some such. Even though logically i didnt save as much as it cost me, i would be complaining even more about price hikes if i didnt get there when i did. Dont beat yourself up. They wouldnt give you pts if you cant justify them other than you hoped to get to diamond sooner. Do another short cruise? Sounds like if your husband took the short cruise was what you all needed to reach diamond. Rcl does have us jumping thru hoops but the result is worth it, i agree.

Seems odd then allure would have a hole punch desk set off from customer service for a do it yourself hole punch. We just punched our own.

There may be some new ships that you cant punch a hole but most do. I just did allure and you can punch a hole in those cards.

Looks good to me, I'd still eat it. .. though I'd prefer it covered in pepperoni. I'm with Lisa.

I went ahead with my bookings. I cant see that I'd need help. I have a lot of time on this class ship, did breeze b2b Halloween 2023. Dream is 14 days but I've been on this ship before. The big thing will be the expense of excursions for me. New ports. Nothing I really need help with. The price is the price. It's already now over 3k, and keeps going up.

They would be better for motion since they are mid ship. I've been more aft and never near the singing so I have never had issues with music. Just look what is below when you book.

What I had was rancid. Burned like acid. Havent ordered it since and I get 5 vouchers a day and dont use them up so it's free.

Run dont walk. Imo the shops they promote of course pay rcl to be promoted. I'd call it a kickback. Those stores gotta charge more to break even. Find a store not promoted to shop. I think some go hoping they get free things thrown their way. I cant imagine any other reason.
