When you board go get the times you want if they are open. Can change the first night too. Wait until you board then find someone.

I think hearing ncl hit a iceberg scared a lot of captains. 3rd thread about this, everyone starts a new thread cant just post on a existing thread. If you have anytime dining choose the button to share a table. Doesnt work well for dinner but better at lunch. Good way to meet others. Do a excursion thru carnival. Lots of others to meet.

I had cheers twice, vista and breeze and had a milkshake each time from the coffee shop. Very good. 3.50 or maybe 4.50 each if I was paying.

I assume there are 2 of you. If this was a solo cruise you would get 3 pts x 2. Leave the wife at home or in a inside cabin lol. She can still sleep with you. Double means you ignore us solos how you count to me. Oh well. 1 for regular, 1 for solo, 1 for js and up, equals 3. X 2 if doubled. 6 pts a day, not 8. And no if you royal up to a JS or higher, you dont get the extra pt for JS.

that was my situation too. I could hit 340 pts by doing b2b2b2b on grandeur. Maybe staffing has improved my steward said what do you expect with 70% staff and 95% pax. That day at lunch in WJ they ran out of ribs so I patiently waited, got them after a while, but every silverware bin was empty. Got a crewmember to get that then no clean tables so i ate with friends at their table. I'd say 1/3 of tables no salt and pepper but they expected a shipment by now. The line to eat was closed I heard from others not allowed into WJ I get it as I've been attacked for not saying I loved grandeur. 1.5 hours at chops and they walked out without dessert. Lots said 2 hour meals especially first night. Consider wj for dinner first night if staffing low still. Except for pizza I thought the food was very good, just slow. .. and I've done liberty 5 times before grandeur to compare. If anything food was spiced better than liberty. I just am not fod of lines.

canival moved me pre covid to a smaller hc cabin and my pvp kept telling me this. No sympathy just took carnivals side. She said it was in my record and perhaps they thought they were doing me a favor, even though was my sister not me hc. Imo if they change you cabin they should email you. I didnt check and actually unpacked in the cabin I booked, one of those large port hole cabins. I got moved to a higher category at the front which has windows you have to cover at night for steering. I was so mad. After that I am not sure I used her again I was so mad at her attitude. I'm owed a email or a phone call and let me know. I hated the new cabin. Tiny hc the beds didnt push together with half the cabin the bathroom. A much smaller cabin is not my idea of a upgrade, dont care about category. I never forgave her for her bad attitude. Dont move me without the courtesy of a email. I dont care if they have the right.

I read that the airlines now have no responsibility for offering something if your flight is delayed or cancelled. I seem to remember they were required to give you something. When did this change.

I'm aware of celebrity. I thought about it but celebrity doesnt go out of texas. It costs as much to fly as I'd save I decided and the added stress level. And then you get the option of adding on the perks and right back up there in price even for the lower cost deals i clicked thru. Lol. I'll wait for rcl to offer deals..

not easily. Actually the side with the dresser is easier to slide my legs thru. The side with the sofa I couldnt get thru fast. When the phone rang I was up and over the bed and crawled to the bed to reach the phone. I can sort of slide my legs thru but slowly. Brillo is always saying to slide both beds together against one wall if you are solo. I might if I ever book these again. I hated this set up. I book a little of everything so dont book these often. Too tight imo.

They will announce the winner before the next hour. I was on FBN who was talking ccl and changed to CNBC. Cant get away from them bad mouthing cruise stocks today. They are hurting for money it seems. Times have changed since rcl flew people with covid home, covid has changed. I dont expect these procedures to continue indefinitely. Definitely get your money back that was promised, while the getting is good.

My issues with grandeur have to do with the dining staff. I had a female waiter who got a attitude with me about ordering off the vegan menu and told me it had to be pre ordered and I said no and she said yes that got escalated and then if anything I felt like everyone knew my face and that was annoying. So I'm biased that this was my least favorite cruise since restart. Someone lately reviewed and didnt like between 3 pm and 6 pm only bad pizza available. Maybe a exaggeration but I only got cold pizza I didnt like. First night way too many had 2 hour mdr dinners. Ran out of silverware during sea day lunch in buffet. Line at coffee shop every morning even if you just wanted to grab a donut. Hopefully by now they have more waiters. I like to eat so as I said I'm biased. I got the cruises cheap so I'm ok, but didnt rush to book more. Sure yes lots of lovely water and the crew especially cabin stewards bent over backwards trying. Not one person that I knew said they would book grandeur again. Tablet mates said well maybe it's the shorter legs why they felt that way.

You can ask for a key only card. Have your husband go with you. Dont switch cabins onboard, just carry the extra key and it wouldnt affect obc. 2 bathrooms might even be nice.

Carnival reimbursed nothing. Lucky you were on rcl. All cdc made them do was provide a list of hotel names where you can isolate. Carnival you isolate on your own dime, dont know about their other brands like princess. It was not a cdc condition they reimburse you or cover costs.

you will cancel your rcl credit card because you dont want a domestic cruise and AA flights cost too much? I'd look at longer cruises maybe miami, but AA airfare does seem up this week. I'm booked on AA for our group cruise next spring and too bad the price isnt like a stock price. Its moving higher, I'd be winning lol. And the price I paid is no deal. I got times I wanted and seats to justify the price. Flying costs does ruin deals on rcl.

Sounds like maybe casino deals. If it was just regular fares like early saver you could pay maybe $50 and do a name change. Have you called the casino? See what the terms were for the rate you booked.
