Out of texas people were so excited when this year royal added this new 8/6 option where the 8 day went to coco cay they booked up this itinerary like it was so exciting. Omg we can get to coco cay without driving. At one point I saw my cabin over 1700 pp before taxes and fees. This route was just added this year. Some of the excitement has died down, but it was a lot of excitement when this route first dropped. Takes 8 days to get to the bahamas. I did feel taken advantage of when I saw threads of people getting super cheap rates to hideaway. For texas these 6 dates were a super exciting add to the usual only western. There is a reason harmony is cheaper, the ports are so boring. Texans have done western to death. It was part of why I moved to PC this hear to get access to more ports.

I checked over on the carnival boards and no mention of trouble or flashingnred lights. St greg was off jubilee by 7:40 am so maybe was off before your picture.

I think it depends where your ship is coming from as from Galveston it's always been full price is 79. I have never seen it at 69, it's been as low as 71.99. I booked harmony from Galveston when it was released and watched hideaway bay since it was released. Now it's more only 5% off, but it's never been as low as 69. So saying it's been updated and changed when it's been 79 since day 1 is a generalization from Florida ports. I saw a blogger who inaccurately to me said its changed. Nope not out of Galveston. We always had this higner full price of 79. 6 cruises out of texas this year and I'm on the oct to coco cay booked immediately. Never seen the low prices like out of florida. Dynamic pricing at it's best and then a certain blogger making assumptions based only on Florida prices. They take advantage of those out of texas for the same excursions. .. just saying read that inaccurate blogger and here saying it's gone up .. nope stayed the same.

I'm on the 9/13 and booked 2 days after everyone else checked in and have 12:30. My first time out of PC since I moved to the area. I plan to try uber. I'm sure I'll be early too. I had a guy show up in shorts in a so called dress up night. Dress how you like, no one will say anything if it's not see thru or a bathing suit. People dress up to get their pictures made. It's up to you.

It's been my experience when I am wandering around right after I board the crown lounge is usually pretty empty and not ready for service.

I'm american so maybe that's why I tip for a free drink as I havent prepaid tips. It's a american thing. I didnt say required though. I said it cant hurt that I tip.

I've asked for oj the last morning and gotten it but they knew me by then and I'd been there every morning for a glass or two. I love the oj. A tip cant hurt.

Some odd time during the night like 5 am they reset the vouchers. Old ones go away and the new days take their place.

I book lunches on sea days all the time. I like them obviously. Got many cruise 1 or 2 booked each leg for variety.

It says the transfer is a ride 45 minutes each way to a statue. I'm not interested. I wanted to see the acropolis which luckily 1 spot came open. Grabbed it. Just saying a saw a transfer offered for 69 each way. I cant wait to see the acropolis.

When I first get on the ship boarding day and have been in there earlier like coolish and it's all cleaned up, no coffee cups and coffee machine not ready and no cookies the day we board is what I'm talking about. ...happy hour isnt right after I board, it's at 5 pm. Two different things.

My athens port has a transfer excursion for 69 pp. So I'm assuming I wouldnt walk. If you dont want to book a transfer thru royal then use a last minute taxi or book ahead. What other choices?

I think it is still called happy hour. 5 to about 8 pm they are free hot and cold snacks. Finger food. I dont drink so I dont care about if drinks I have to use a voucher, its happy hour with free finger food out about 5 to 8 pm. Just because you have to use a voucher doesnt make it not happy hour by name. What do you call this period in the lounge. You have a special name? I personally never use up my free drinks so if I use a voucher I dont care. Still has free food. Just use a voucher.

OP has already bought it for both legs. 4 and 3 days on utopia. He said he was considering dropping it for the 3 day shorter leg. If he is comfortable with the price, I'd keep it. Not cancel. He is asking about cancelling. Already booked.

No one knows, whenever royal feels like it. They used to post early the month before but early August I could make reservations for all my oct dates, 2 months before.

Go in the morning when the crew in tere has serviced the coffee machine and there is fruit and pastries and stuff. Just during off hours nothing much. Once the cruise starts often they leave cookies intense, just not on embarkation day. At 5 pm there will be hot and cold snacks.

Very few want in before 5 pm happy hours start time. Nothing in there. Mostly the coffee machine not set up and not working, no food, no nothing and many are in windowless rooms now. Not inviting to me to be where I cant see out and nothing there, empty room.

Could that have been from your TA. I've never heard of royal offering free gratuities. You can do regular food any day. If you are satisfied with the price I'd do the pkg both legs. You can sample the buffet at breakfast. I'd want to try mason jar and hooked and chops or whatever and skip the Mdr for dinner. Mdr at dinner isnt anything special enough if the price is good you got from some promotion.

I'm late to the party. Adventure to Bermuda 8 days doesnt leave until sept 13. I feel left behind so many cruising. Happy anniversary. Enjoy.

I saw dinner prices at disney, child prices were thru age 9. So they are consistent.

I was eyeing that shrimp too and wanting some.

Then you have to wait to sign up until you are onboard, if its not sold out. I couldn't book a bird watching excursion in Belize. I was 1 year over at the time. I was told it was insurance, sorry. Why you cant be over 70 to see birds in Belize even sillier, just walk in peoples yards in town.
