I was surprised to find one on our deck yesterday. They are one of my big memories of growing up in Ohio. When we lived in Brecksville I remember them being everywhere one year. You would find their casings attached to trees. We used to fish with them. Happy to see you tested negative. Hope you enjoy the cruise. Have you ever tried the Samba Grill? I didn't remember it on Allure the last time we were on. Plan to try it in October.

I think it's an age thing. Now if I get more than one thing on my mind it's easy to drift. 😆 It's like when I open the drawer next to the fridge, stand there for a second wondering what I wanted then open the fridge and get a coke. 😆

If you were getting in early I was going to recommend riding on the Metromover. It was free and takes you all around Miami. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Brickell. Catty-corner was a place called Coyo Taco that has great fish tacos. Not sure I would travel that far for it. Not far from you is Bayside Marketplace. We enjoyed going there. When we were there they had live music going on. We were there during the day. Might be worth researching if you are looking for something to do. My most memorable time was getting to stay a couple extra days. 😆

Last October we sailed Symphony out of Miami. I don't remember if suite and Key holders shared the same line but I would think they would. We got there early, before the regular line opened, and walk right through. Very easy. The only pause is when they check out your documents and that was no big deal. Things might of changed but right as you board you enter the Promenade where they had stations set upwhere to make your dinner reservations. If they are not using them anymore I am sure you know to head to one of the restaurants. Are you getting to Miami early? If so, where are you staying. We really enjoyed our extra time in Miami.

I too use a FP. I usually blend up everything but the basil first. Then I chop up the basil with a knife before adding if in the FP. This helps the pesto to stay greener. Before, when I just tossed it all in, the basil would turn dark before the pine nuts were finely chopped. I plan to make some when my DD comes tomorrow. Maybe make some pizza with it

My High School senior skip day was at Cedar Point. 😆 The wooden rollercoaster was a big thing in the 70's. I still remember the 1st time riding the Top Thrill Dragster. The force you feel when it takes off and when you get to the top it looks like you are about to fly into the air. It's over so quickly. I remember years ago watching a special featuring the tallest, fastest rollercoasters. Cedar Point had 2 of the top 3. Not long after that I believe a place in Japan built one to beat them all then Cedar Point afterwards built the Top Thrill Dragster. I have heard there was one built in the states in the last few years to beat this one. OB, if you go, there is a beautiful Lighthouse not far from Cedar Point. I believe it's in Marblehead. You would get to do two favorite things!

We have not taken advantage of this yet. What is opened? We thought about it on Ovation last May but wasn't seeing where to use them.

It's in Sandusky Ohio. I believe it has 17 rollercoasters. They have several top ten tallest, fastest rollercoasters in the world. One cool one is called Top Trill Dragster. Have you ever tried Cedar Point? It is the best amusement park for those who love rollercoasters. 🎢

I heard that there is a TA that has some great Allure prices in January out of Galveston.

That was us on our May Alaska cruise. Way over estimated what we needed. We fully stuffed 2 suitcases each where if a Caribbean cruise we pack 1 each. We like Allure. We will be on it again in October and trying to decide between Allure and Oasis in January. Hope y'all have a great time!

Last year while cruising I remember being full before dinner. I mentioned it to my DW and she said, You don't have to be hungry to eat! 🤣 I was on Ovation in May and actually lost 5lbs. We did a lot of walking in Alaska.

We cruise October with the UDP. Is it possible to use it to it's fullest and not gain weight 🤔

I thought it would be up by now but it's still not there.
