Good morning everyone. Stuffed ourselves at Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar then came home and crashed. So today will be a walk, laundry, and what ever else my retired lifestyle deems necessary! Received our documents for our river cruise this morning so that is becoming a reality. Fond of pepperoni on my pizzas. At our ages I guess we have to be ready for just about anything and another great quote from the Dalai Lama. Looking forward to reading everyone’s post and some chuckles along the way. Thanks Rich for the Fleet Report. I remember the period we didn’t know the Fleet’s whereabouts; so I really appreciate your dedicated Daily. Bruce

We got an early start and had an uneventful and safe drive home. Just catching up and watching highlights from Her Majesty’s Funeral. A beautiful and fitting farewell for an extraordinary Monarch. Time with family was precious and we are now at home until our Scenic River cruise in France next month. Will have to find some time to read today’s postings. Dinner tonight will be the salad bar at our local Ruby Tuesday’s. Thanks for the Reports and postings. Bruce

Good morning. Every day is wife appreciation day. Like a cheeseburger now and then but the calories don’t like me! We had nice NY strips cooked over charcoal last night and today we are having a turkey breast. We had a fun time playing and entertaining our grandchildren. The hugs and kisses I just got made the five hours of driving worth it!❤️ We originally were going to stay until Tuesday morning but we are going back tomorrow morning due to an unexpected appointment. In texting my SIL, who was on the Noordam yesterday it was sunny and blue skies as they were sailing to Vancouver. I have a little one who demands my attention so I’ll sign off with a thanks to all and wishes for a great day. Bruce

Every bar as of late, in our experience, has some signature cocktails on their cocktail menus. At least that is the case on Pinnacle Class ships.

Surely not all but I have seen and known some in the no luggage situation. Agree there is not much enforcement these days. Not much to enforce when a collared shirt is minimum.

Noise polluters!

When seeing folks in the dining room wearing shorts at night many times can be related to lost luggage.

Will be interested to know whether this storm will affect any of today’s Alaska sailing departures.

Maybe there is some mouthwash container’s in cans but I haven’t seen any. I use the small plastic travel bottles and have seen crew members buying mouthwash in stores.

Well, me and DW are up but our family including grandchildren are still asleep. Have no clue what is on the agenda for the day but definitely some fun time with the grandchildren. Thanks for the explanation for what “rare” on certain member post but I have no idea why they would use that word for someone who has done a live cruise report? Our drive across Florida yesterday was fine with the exception of quite a few left lane huggers. It’s actually against the law in Florida but just wish they would enforce it. Grand dogs are happy that we are up but will enjoy this quiet time before we become fully employed grandparents! Thanks for the Fleet Report and other post that will follow. Bruce

As soon as DW get’s back from a medical appointment we’ll hit the road and head to daughters for a few days. The oldest granddaughter Lana Jayne is super excited that Pop Pop and Nana are coming to see her.❤️ The youngest Miss Artemis Jade (Arty) the kleptomaniac will have a big smile and hug for us. Driving across I-10 has to be one of the most boring drives in America but worth it to see family. Jacqui what a nice deed from you auto repair folks. You don’t hear loyalty stories like that happening much these days. Okay enough talk got things to do in preparation for trip. Thanks for the Fleet Report and to our loyal reporters thank you.

Good morning! Just the opposite here as I slept late henceforth posting late! Projects of the day include washing the car as tomorrow we are headed to Jacksonville to visit with daughter and family. We’ll return Tuesday. Also need to devote some time in preparation for tonight’s church small group meeting. For the past two mornings we have been getting a hint that fall is coming. Temperatures have been in the low sixties in the morning which is great for morning walk. Temperature’s will still rise to high eighties later in the day. @Horizon chaser 1957 Just curious.
