  1. @mwf7501Thanks for your detailed report. Looking forward to our January cruise.
  2. @marshhawkYes we will be getting the cold front down here in NW Florida. Wednesday forecast low’s in 30’s. Don’t plan on going outside in ATL but always have a sweater available when flying.
  3. Good morning. Well, it’s pretty foggy here this morning and I hope that is not an issue tomorrow morning when we fly to Atlanta and await our flight to France. We only have two hours at Degaulle before catching a flight to Lyon. Knowing that two hours would be cutting it close we have hired a service that will meet us and escort us through immigration to our connecting flight. Everything is pretty much done so not much planned for today other then eating out or delivery. Thanks for the reports and I wish all of you a wonderful week.
  4. Good morning! Back from church and taking some time to catch up on what’s happening. Good service and a sermon that was helpful in how to deal with conflict. We have reservations for a brunch on the bayou and it’s a beautiful day for dining outdoors. We will be dining out as we have used up perishables and the fridge is rather bare. Pretty much packed other then toiletries. Can we go now? So I’ll have another coffee and sit back and read the Daily. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Bruce
  5. Good morning. Headed for church. Thanks for report. Later!
  6. In Bora Bora while snorkeling on Patrick’s tours I noticed that I was getting quite far from the boat so I started to swim back. They didn’t provide fins and I quickly realized I’m not making any progress getting back to the boat. I finally had to raise my arm and request help. I was being held by a current. In the process my leg touched some coral and when I got back in the boat my leg was bleeding. Blood and sharks don’t mix so that was the end of snorkeling that day. There was plenty of black tip sharks around but the Lemon shark was huge!
  7. Good morning! Slept late after staying up late watching a show. We have been to Bora Bora and hope to revisit in 2024. We also did Patrick’s Tour. My wife had her picture taken with Patrick and just as I clicked a funny look came over Patrick’s face. It appears when they posed my wife put her hand behind Patrick and it just happened to land on his bare buttocks!😁 I would definitely book his tour again. Like Venice Bora Bora is getting picky on allowing cruise ships to visit. Some last minute shopping for things to bring on our trip. We’re pretty much packed and will leave Tuesday. Thanks for the reports and your Daily post. Have a great Saturday.
  8. My Prisendam substitute has been Azamara cruise ships. About 8 tons smaller and less then 700 cruisers and we really enjoyed the experience. Now have many days booked including a 155 day world voyage. Loved the experience and met several former Hal cruisers who agreed.
  9. Sorry to hear of your positive test. It happened to us last March on board Rotterdam and it’s not fun. Hope your symptoms remain mild
  10. Busy day ahead. Outside of house and concrete is getting pressured washed today. Culligan is coming by to replace filter in water reverse osmosis unit. Salt being delivered for water softener, pick up prescriptions, pick up neighbors at airport, continue packing. Think I’ll go back to bed for a little more shut eye. Last night’s weather forecasted that next Tuesday low temps will be in thirties and highs in 60’s. For neighbors with pools I believe the season is coming to an end. The good thing the big pool, Gulf of Mexico is cooling down! Thanks for the reports, list and post. Have a great day.
  11. $35.00 is not surprising especially with todays inflation reports. Sure seeing it at my grocery stores and I’m sure Azamara as well from their food providers.
  12. Well, I’m late on wishing Happy Birthday wishes to @JazzyV Happy Birthday!🎂🍾💐
  13. It is sad to see the Renaissance aka MS Maasdam. Had some great cruises on that beauty. The last being from Auckland to San Francisco. She’s now in France being refitted for her new cruise line.
  14. Good Morning! We received a little rain yesterday and presently, radar shows we may get some more in a few minutes! We enjoyed our dinner out last night and their portions are so large we will finish the leftovers tonight before our small group @msmayor welcome back to the Daily. Need to stick around the house this morning as it’s time for a quarterly pest control treatment. Always have a concern if the pesticide can kill a bug what effect does it have on us. Have been to Malaga a couple of times and I believe we will visit there again next spring on our Azamara cruise. Doing a little more packing today and not much else on the schedule. Have a great day and thanks for the report and care list. Bruce
  15. Great pictures. We love Kauai and our deeded time share is on Poipu Beach. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Scenic Luxury River Cruises. We’re excited as it is our first river cruise.
  17. ER nurses are special and so are all nurses. @HAL SailerSorry to hear your sad news of the day.🙏. @Quartzsite Cruiser I do hope your DH is doing well and the surgery is the start of pain free comfort and ease. Looking at radar and hopefully some rain West of us actually arrives here this afternoon. Still have quite a few cookbooks in house but we find ourselves using on-line recipes more these days. Taking my Sue out to an Italian restaurant tonight. In preparation for our upcoming river cruise; we are not doing a lot of grocery shopping this week. Our celebrity chef on cruise will be Bryan Voltaggio who has a restaurant in MD. He and his brother have both been on Top Chef and other culinary TV shows. I’m running late and I need to get a walk in before it hopefully 🙏 rains. Enjoy Hump Day and thanks for the reports. Bruce
  18. Remember how long I had to wait for a dishwasher from Lowe’s? Definitely address how long it will take installer contractors to install.
