  1. No. No. One time. She can go as your guest.
  2. Offers go out to groups of passengers.....once all are claimed it disappears. You may get something different in the future or nothing at all.
  3. It is a strange fad. Unfortunately I get it on both end in the cruise and Jeep world.
  4. .....because it was likely some sort of fraud behind the method used to pay Carnival for the cruise. That is why the "TA" requested the initial payment through Zelle. As a business owner I wouldn't put the effort into investigating if the the customer was a willing participant in this scam or not especially when I am left holding the bag. Ban everyone involved and move on.
  5. ....but the contract is with the customer who cruised. The customer 'hired' the agent, not Carnival. At the end of the day it is common sense for the company not to do business with either in the future if they were basically left holding the bag for a free cruise.
  6. No....you are cancelling and not simply changing dates. You will have to book under the current promotions.
  7. I certainly am not against technology but restaurants are one place where I prefer a paper menu. Browsing sections of the menu on the phone is simply not the same experience for me. I will always ask for a paper copy.
  8. Protecting the cruise lines have certainly made some members on here bitter. You would think you are insulting their mother if you critique their 'baby'.
  9. I don't think much changed as it relates to the customer experience. The big hope from many was a conversion to create an Alchemy but it didn't happen.
  10. Nothing new. There is nothing on the ceiling meant to act as a tie out and a hanging divider will impact the fire suppression system.
  11. I am really going to have to try this next time, I have always been apt to just go with the flow and then be disappointed I have a neighbor 6" away defeating the purpose of a 2 top.
  12. The extreme viewpoints that come out in these threads always baffle me. One end is the folks who are content with being the ultimate cheapskate and refusing to tip, the other is those who have elevated the crew to god like status. I always pay the standard gratuity and tip extra as the situation dictates. However, I am not a charity and don't go throwing $5's around at every crew member so I can get on the net and brag about it. Yes, they work hard, so do I. They provide a service and area compensated for it, it really isn't a life changing experience. Some of this bragging is just as cringe worthy as the recent social media trend of leaving $1's in a heart or whatever so the giver can take a 'hey look at me' photo for social media.
  13. ....because a good portion of the food has to be lathered in some sort of sauce to hide the lack of flavor and hopefully distract from the cold serving temps.
  14. I'm on the other side of this....if you don't want to be charged then don't throw pay venues in the mix.....stick with the MDR.
  15. I always go to Manage---- Booking & Order details----Your Booking-----View Invoice Details. It will be listed at the bottom.
  16. Looks correct to me. One is showing the average price per passenger, the next is showing the cabin total which indicates pricing for at least 2 guests.

    Your bill

We did not get one over the summer on Seaside. I had to take photos of the account from the TV before we left the cabin.
  18. They are still competing with other lines on the fare. The additional costs you are harping on are pretty much standard in the industry and certainly comparable across the mainstream lines. As for the rest....that is crazy talk. EVERYTHING is passed on to the consumer.
  19. Sorry...I am very familiar with how much a large corporation pays for roaming costs. It would be much cheaper for them to just buy the wi-fi for the week than to expect me to use my company cell or laptop using a hotspot.
  20. I could not imagine what that cost would be, data at sea is billed by the MB. You can easily spend a thousand for just a week of normal cell phone use no including data hogging stuff like video streaming. There is no way my company would not balk at me just letting them 'pay for the roaming fees'.
  21. Cell data across the board is prohibitively expensive on cruise ships, cell carrier 'plan' or not. Unless that changes I don't see how this is much of a benefit to anyone.
  22. How people justify expenses baffles me. I am a total price type person, how it breaks down is not my concern. Some put so much effort into wanting this or that 'included'. $2000 + $500 or $2500 is the same either way. You are not winning. Look at the total....if the price is worth it enjoy your vacation. If it is not then another form may be your best bet.
