  1. Have you seen this thread? notifications, yes but no ping
  2. Not wirth asking when the kitchens aren’t adjacent
  3. When checking opens you chose your arrival time. most cruises, but not all, have a concierge lunch in the main dining room. If you are on board in time, you can go there, no reservations needed.
  4. She can go to breakfast and some other events but doesn’t get the benefits (internet, laundry, etc). Consult your on board Captains Club host for specifics
  5. As stated above this is generally not allowed on the embarkation day.
  6. Keep in mind, when looking at prices, that the price listed for Australia sailings includes the service charge. For other sailings the service charge is added to the published price. The total comes out the same, but the presentation differs. this just showed up in a recent thread about room service. It appeared that the amount charged had increased but it was just a geographic difference.
  7. Are you sure that the prices really are competitive. Celebrity charges per person, and most hotels charge per room.
  8. Keukenhof is quite a drive from Amsterdam. I don’t think I would chance it
  9. I know about 0/0 beer but it still is problematic for the screeners who have instructions of “No beer allowed”. They work for the port not the cruiser be and aren’t going to get into the nuances of Celebrity’s policies.
  10. The binoculars are very cheap and many are broken. Bring your own.
  11. Be aware that you are not supposed to bring NA beer on board. They may have allowed it in Barcelona but don’t count on it for Eclipse
  12. I have done both. Just depends on what else I have in carry-on.
  13. This is good news and you had good luck but generally side to side doesn’t qualify
  14. No only same ship. Switching ships you are on side to side cruises, not back to back.
  15. Perhaps you still have time to change to a ship more to your liking
  16. No barriers except possibly a small portion of the highest deck
  17. As of now, only commercial shipping vessels have been affected. By September, who knows.
