Connecting with a new device generates a message that the account is in use and would you like to disconnect the first device so you can connect the second one
There have been a couple of other similar reports in the last few months about the same problem. It appears that Celebrity does not make it clear. What would happen if you need to cancel the place to buy Celebrity. I hope this gets corrected and until I hear that it has been corrected, I won’t be booking any further Flights by Celebrity.
Go to your “my celebrity” on your phone or laptop or tablet and choose the cruise you are inquiring about and you should see a message about your available OBC. I don’t think it is visible on the app.
What you describe is how you do it with a one device plan where you can only have one active device at a time, but If you bought a 2 devices plan you don’t need to share.
For future reference, the E class ships actually do not take reservations for the main dining rooms. It looks like they do, the website seems to indicate that they do, but in fact, they don’t. An E class ships the dining rooms are all open seating.
You don’t say how old they will be and that makes a difference.
celebrity does cater to a more adult crowd and there won’t be slides and climbing walls but it’s Alaska, not the Caribbean, so those things might not be usable even if they had them.
Were these terminal staff who asked you so many questions or Celebrity staff?
Also did they call for the ship’s documentation officer to come to the terminal to talk to you?
What countries were you visiting? Many have very strict rules designed to deal with human trafficking. Is it possible that Celebrity was simply working within the rules of one of the places you would be visiting?
Normally no, because it is tied to your personal Captains Club status.
That being said, married couples should have the same status regardless if one has cruised more than the other so if you don’t see the same level on your Express Pass and SeaPass card, visit the Captains Club representative to get that updated.
Hmmm you asked if you can still get the HH drinks in the other venues. Answer-yes
you speculated that they reduced HH by 3 nights on a 7 night cruise and more on longer cruise. Answer- they did not
my answers were specific to tge Happy Hour changes.
It’s unlikely that you will ever know if there is a large group on your cruise until you are on board. It could be a corporate group, a large family, an affinity group, a bunch of quilters or a Harley-Davidson club. None of these would be available for non members to book.
