  1. Cost was 20% higher than salon at home but the staff have always done a beautiful job and I am a happy repeat customer
  2. Yes, you need to let the ship know. there may be restrictions put on by the local authorities. what is the port?
  3. The ship will not wait for you, unless there are many, many passengers, who are equally affected. Flights by Celebrity can assist you in getting you to the first port to meet up with the ship. Assuming you are on the ascent that port would be Nassau and there would be no PVSA problems. however, they do not guarantee that they will get you to the next port in time to meet the ship. and you should be prepared for some out-of-pocket costs, which might be reimbursable you would be responsible for them in the meantime.
  4. The question is which currency and the answer is either will work.
  5. Call Flights by Celebrity and see what kind of alternate itinerary they can book for you
  6. That was on Royal, yes? On Celebrity you would need premium internet.
  7. To get what you want on an e class ship, you will probably need to book suites. It might be better to stick to S class ships
  8. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets, several juices at breakfast, usually orange & apple, after which juice drink blends, iced tea, & lemonade take over in the dispensers in the buffet milk, (soy milk, and usually oat or almond milk can be found at the buffet)
  9. Probably not. Most people find that they must upgrade the wifi in order to use “calling over wifi”.
  10. I don’t think you can leave it until boarding day. The cruise line have to submit its passenger manifest to government authorities in advance.
  11. They ask to see your SeaPass card so unless you are Concierge, Zenith or back-to-back you will be turned away.
  12. No formal nights. Two or three chic nights.
  13. If it doesn’t come with Power Up Points it will really be useless.
  14. Yes, hallways are no good but I have always found other places which are out of the line of traffic where the scooter can be safely parked.
  15. The key thought is “will the place that the scooter be parked block any emergency access or any hallway. ?” There are often small alcoves and little spaces near the elevator, where a scooter can be plugged in. You need to be able to walk to the scooter, and from the scooter to the stateroom, but the scooter can easily be tucked into one of those small spaces.
  16. It’s true they can change everything but it’s the way that they have gone about doing so that makes everyone jumpy.
  17. Royal never did it, or anything like it. In fact, I don’t believe any other cruise line had any similar program. Only Celebriy.
  18. What is sad is how jumpy so many of us have become. The ap isn’t updated and we are trying not to freak out that it’s another cutback, but we have seen so many it’s easy to overreact and it makes me sad that Celebrity isn’t the line it once was and it’s making us a little nuts……
  19. You’re not going for a long time, if I remember right. By the time you cruise, everything could be different. Maybe ask closer to your actual date
