  1. I saw a video on FB. It was unreal. Seemed like a lot of water. Glad no one was hurt. m
  2. I had it most every day on jewel in December. I liked it very much. I mostly got a latte or cappuccino with nothing extra. They did a great job, the coffee was smooth, and hot. The baristas seem to remember everyone’s coffee choices m
  3. I agree about the shows. I don’t care for a juggler and rarely attend that type of headliner. I liked the other two production shows and find them to be on par with sister ships. Not a huge fan of the invitation to dance type of show. m
  4. Panini station was in the center. There was only one specific sandwich they were making each day. Some of them were delicious, likely because it was so fresh and hot. m
  5. John-are you and Laura sailing with us Friday? m
  6. I don’t need anything else either but I guess whatever it is will be for sale on EBay before the ship arrives back at port. m
  7. Two weeks sailing December and the first I've heard about anything is on this page. Heading out soon for another two weeks, so I guess we'll see. I recall for the 50th year celebration, (not including the actual birthday sailing) they had that special 50th birthday dessert. M
  8. It all balances out. I'm getting ready for an 8 night, and it only shows a menu for 6 nights! Same thing happened when we took an 8 night on the same ship last month. The menu was never complete until we logged on to the ship internet and used the app once on board. Then a few times (generally for lunch) the app was incorrect. No worries. It will take months for the menus to roll out, get tweaked etc for all ships. M
  9. Is my understanding that a lobster tail will still be included on US sailings of seven nights or longer. additional lobster tails will have an additional charge. m
  10. Of course, those bottles are empty and not necessarily what is offered. m
  11. That is good news. I'll guess that the kids menu is still in place? Pasta and grilled chicken were available on that menu. I've ordered both a few times. Sliced the chicken, added it to the pasta and a delicious dinner was created. Or slice the chicken and add to Caesar salad. Lately, I've abandoned the main courses and just ordered a few salad/appetizers. M
  12. Back then didn't we get a credit - not points. Basically, one credit for a cruise 9 nights or less. So, for diamonds in December, one extra credit per cruise. At the conversion, credits converted to the number times 7, and then a bonus amount (13 was max) if you had lots of sailings. Those with 100 credits became Pinnacle M
  13. Breakfast sandwiches (think egg McMuffins and breakfast burritos) bagels with a variety of toppings, cereal, and milk, pastries, fruit etc. It will be the same breakfast every day. enjoy.
  14. On Navigator? I was under the impression that Johnny Rockets breakfast was only available on oasis class ships. m
  15. RCCL drink vouchers cover drinks up to $14. You will receive Celebrity Elite benefits. They don’t provide daily drink vouchers but provide a complementary happy hour(s) most evenings. They offer some different benefits. Check their site for details. m
  16. It is customary for the cabin attendant to supply ice as part of cabin service. Simply ask him or her. No problem. m
  17. The welcome snack has been a plate of three or four cookies. If nothing specific is selected, the welcome drink defaults to a bottle of water m
  18. There is likely no one at the RCCL number who can answer your questions. When you call customer service, you are basically getting a sales agent. They don’t have knowledge or the training for many customer questions in other areas Perhaps some of the experienced travel agents on this site can offer assistance. m
  19. January on Jewel we were all in chops. We went to the dining room a few times and were pleased there as well m
  20. Don’t recall that D+ was offered breakfast in a speciality restaurant. If it was offered and removed I think I would remember it. Maybe it wasn’t offered on ships I sailed. And yes, often Pinnace breakfast is in one speciality restaurant and suite in another. We find this set up mostly on Radiance class ships. Suite/pinnacle get to go to either but we like to stick with one. m
  21. We go to the dining room, sometimes for a change of menu/scenery. There are a couple of items on the dining room breakfast menu that are not available for the suite breakfast. m
