  1. Everyone said that but we didn't seem to have that experience. We were right at the Hamiliton street party main intersection at Flanagan's, a second-floor Irish pub. We had a great view of the festivities. Our drinks, (a rum swizzle and a beer ) were about the same price as on the ship. Burger and a large bowl of chowder were about $25. Food was delicious. Next day at the beach, prices were comparable with other beach bar/restaurants. I think I paid $10 for a dark and stormy. Perhaps we got lucky with our restaurant choices. We heard about $30 burgers from friends on board, but thankfully didn't experience that. M
  2. The walk to the ferry is about 1 block. There is a Taxi stand in the same area. There are some mini busses a bit closer, but i don't know all the routes. We took one to Horseshoe beach. I also don't know if there is a shuttle that can take you to the ferry. M
  3. You can purchase insurance at any time. The rccl insurance has to be purchased through their 3rd party vendor if you are within final payment. That is cruise insurance and likely will not provide emergency travel assistance if you need to travel home. Go to a site like "insure my trip dot com" to looks at plans that meet your needs. Best wishes.
  4. You can wear anything.....anything. sadly, the bar is so low that they have to suggest you not wear a wet swimsuit to dinner. Enjoy M
  5. Sorry you had an issue. We've never had any luggage crushed. We use hard and sift sided luggage. So I would say, "No", they are not still crushing luggage. M
  6. Yes - the ferry station is across from where the ship docks. If you are there on a Wednesday, you might consider a ferry to Hamilton that night to enjoy the Wednesday night street party. The ferry ride over to Hamilton is beautiful. We had a fun dinner at a second floor restaurant overlooking all the festivities. enjoy
  7. Probably not on Vision. But, does anyone recall the room size of the Sovereign class OV/interior cabins. 120 ft.² pops into my mind. Tiny does not describe it. The room is so small you can’t even change your mind let alone your clothes. There’s not enough room in between the bed and the wall to even climb into bed. You either have to climb in from the foot of the bed or separate the beds. m
  8. Labadee only has one ship on any day. Coco Cay can have one or two. m
  9. Park Cafe on Enchantment has some breakfast sandwiches, bagels and spreads, fruit, and a few other offerings for breakfast. Lunch offers the roast beef sandwich, pre made sandwiches, fresh or pre made salads, soup, some small desserts. Late night offers pizza. It is located in the back of the solarium. m
  10. Perhaps cabin 9062 on Brilliance of the seas. You may recall that was the cabin of George Smith who met his untimely death on Brilliance in 2005. Perhaps the ghost is drinking Jager Meister. m
  11. On Harmony now. There is some sort of body wash or shampoo/conditioner in a container on the wall. So weird, sometimes it is labeled as body wash, and some as shampoo/conditioner. I don’t know if it is a different product. But, it is one single product. They also provide a soap for the shower as well as the sink.. There is a shelf in the shower so you can leave your own products there all week. Glasses are provided in the bathroom. Tissues are provided as well. A month or so ago tissues were scarce, but now it seems to be no problem. m
  12. Creative and clever. I hope you wear it to the pinnacle luncheon. m
  13. Very nice. I guess that’s the difference in loyalty ambassadors/ Hotel directors. Or maybe, you are “well-connected”. Our three night on enchantment was NOTHING. As I mentioned previously, we were offered a photo op. Thank goodness, the celebration was not important to me, honestly at that point I just wanted to get to 700. m
  14. We made pinnacle on a three day Enchantment. They do not have a top tier event or any kind of celebration but offered to do a staged photo opportunity for us. We were also booked on the following four night cruise so they acknowledged us during the captains welcome that was held in the centrum. Basically just an acknowledgment, no other type of celebration, like we’ve seen others receive. No problem -We have our photo and that is really all we wanted. we never considered any specific ship for when we reached pinnacle nor do we consider it for our milestones. M
  15. I sell harmony B2B in January. I think they offered us lunch in the solarium bistro. It was also open to the public so nothing special for back to back cruisers. If they offered a “real” luncheon in the main dining room, it was not on my sailing. m
  16. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. m
  17. Some ships provide a nice back to back luncheon. Mariner (May/June ) had a nice lunch. Harmony does not provide any back to back lunch. M
  18. My husband used to purchase a bud vase from the flower cart. Then the cart disappeared. Now we make a stop on every cruise and pick up a bunch of flowers. I have a pliable plastic vase that is no thicker than a piece of paper. Here are some flower examples. This week I have daisies, sorry no picture. Edited to add a sample of the vase
  19. This week, they did not put you into your respective lines at the terminal till after 10. The terminal doors opened about 10:15. Full suites/pinnacle/key were allowed into the building first We checked in, and sat in our respective areas till about 11. Then of course boarding begins by categories. Pinnacle/ suites diamond plus diamond key and so on down. Enjoy.
  20. Probably best to seek the advice of your Financial Consultant. m
  21. Fine line is being performed this week on harmony. We saw it last night. m
  22. Yesterday, here was the boarding order for Harmony/Port Canaveral Suites/pinnacles diamond plus diamond key. I thought I recalled key sometimes going before diamond plus and diamond, but yesterday out of port Canaveral, it was definitely after. m
