Hi, I'm on the May 29 Norwegian Sky cruise. I received a solo discount but only because my PCC told me I was eligible when I went to book the cruise. Although I have looked numerous times on NCL's website exactly as you stated above I have never seen the Solo Discount option shown. I am in Canada so could that make some difference? But, I did receive the discount. Can you send a screenshot showing the Solo Discount option. Thanks, happytotravel

Hi, #3 Question: When I went to book my 100 minutes and got to the payment page the Sapphire 20% discount didn't show up. I phoned NCL and was told to go to Guest Services when I get onboard to receive it. Why not online? I didn't ask. Sorry for the italics but I can't seem to change it. Hi, If you are booking any Wifi online and you deserve a discount, such as 20% for having Sapphire status, you will have to go to Guest Services when onboard to receive it. I phoned NCL this morning. So, make a note and don't forget to go to Guest Services! happytotravel

Hi, I posted the following earlier today on another place on this forum as MYNCL was showing only 36 excursions available and this has been the same for months. ============================================================================== I just checked with Shorex and they said that 36 or 37 excursions showing is correct. Reason being all the problems arising from Covid 19. There are companies who have gone under and the lack of personnel. Also many people may have booked very early and they are now all booked up. It was suggested to look under the Shore Excursion page and take note of any excursions you might like and when onboard see if any of those are available. It looks like there is a good chance according to Ihavetocruisesomewhere mentioned. ============================================================================= Following that I booked 3 excursions. Just a few minutes ago I checked MyNCL and there are only 21 excursions showing up now!!!!! Two of the excursions I booked are no longer showing up. Take care and continue planning! happytotravel

HI All, I thought I had posted earlier but it doesn't seem to be here, Anyway, I'm on the Sky's May 29th cruise. There should be more excursions turning up soon. There are only 36 showing on my page, I did book one, for Miami. I have been following the excursions for months so it cannot be that excursions are filled up and no longer available as Bird Travel mentioned. For whatever reason NCL seems to be waiting longer in order to publicize our choices. Keep checking every day. happytotravel

Hi, It seems roll calls have gone over to social media or so I'm told. My May 29, 2023 cruise has 3 people on it including myself last time I checked. It's too bad as for years I too have enjoyed using them. I don't use social media. Maybe it had to do with the pandemic. Hi, I'm on the Sky later in May and was looking to book my latitude rewards dining venues. I see the Sky has Cagney's, Le Bistro and La Cucina but no Moderno. Is that correct? Thanks, happytotravel

Hi, NCL's computer is still playing games. It corrected itself yesterday BUT TODAY it added my DSC to my account balance again. Hopefully, tomorrow it will correct itself. happytotravel

Just read on Cruise Industry News that the Joy will be taken out of service between January 06 and February 16, 2024 to be revitalized. What could they be doing? It was only built in 2017. Thanks, happytotravel

Hi, I have found the same thing for my cruise on the Sky for May 29 concerning the roll call. It's unfortunate as not everyone is on "that" site or other social sites. My cruise last September on the Joy had a very vibrant roll call. Why do you think that folks had switch? Thanks, happytotravel

I've just noticed that my OV sailaway cabin for Norwegian Sky's May 29 Caribbean cruise has gone UP $400.00. All cabin prices have gone up no matter what type of cabin you choose. So glad I booked when I did. I guess there is a lot of competition for cabins. Your thoughts on this. happytotravel

Hello, As everyone has said do what make's YOU feel comfortable. I was on the JOY in September and wore my mask but most didn't. I had no problem and as I still wear a mask when going out to places where there are others I plan on wearing mine on my May cruise. Don't worry about those around you and their choice you do what's good for you. Have lots of fun on your cruise. happytotravel

Hi All, I wonder why people who complain before even getting on their cruise bother to cruise. Why do you want to get back your few dollars that you pay for gratuities? There are so many people who work behind the scenes to make your cruise a joy. They are galley staff, waiters, stewards even your laundry staff. Yes, your laundry staff. The majority of the people who serve you are working on the ship for 8 or 9 months, 7 days a week with little time off. I doubt that you would be able to handle that. There maybe some things you may not like on a cruise but does that mean you must punish everyone for an indiscretion? If you think NCL, or any cruise line for that matter, is trying to screw you at every turn go elsewhere. Try going to a resort or just a nice city and stay at a hotel, buy your own meals and drinks, take your own transportation to wherever you want to go and see how much you SPEND! Those of us who are able to go on cruises are very blessed especially when we look at what is happening in many places in the world. Enjoy your cruises and enjoy your life. happytotravel
