I hope you test negative soon so you can make the journey home. You mentioned Princess sets up a $100 per day food allowance. do you pay and then file a claim with Princess? Is this part of the covid trip insurance?

Again, thanks for the great info. I love strong coffee; however, my wife only drinks tea. she loves Starbucks Chai Lattes, and she will drink the constant comment tea from Hampton Inn. We will be looking for some italian or mexican restaurants for meals. Any of those nearby?

I have to agree with you. I am sailing out of Brooklyn in Oct. I know the area and have been in and out of LGA for past 20 years. I will take taxi to and from LGA

The only difference between Princess Transfer and a taxi; the Princess transfer is a bus; they will not leave cruise port until bus is filled. I am sure there will be other people taking the Princess Transfer. No worries. Your flight qualifies for the Princess Transfer. Normally Princess will not let you book EZ air for flights earlier than 1pm; so you should be good to go

Boarding without using the Medallion App - Is it OK?

Do not spend too much time with the app. If it works then fine; but a lot of people on this forum have lots of issues with the app accepting some things and not others. Just show up with required paperwork, passport, vax card, neg covid and you should be fine. -
You should be able to do a 1pm flight with no issues. Taxi to airport is around 30 min and the airport. I don't think you will have any issues getting to the airport and getting checked in.

Wifi calling on iphone is simple and it works well. I used it last week three times in Italy; I even did wifi face time calls.

Thanks for your feedback. I am looking at booking either the Hampton Inn on Brickell or the Couryard Marriott; I will research to see which one has the most places to eat nearby. I will be there two days prior to my cruise
