Grand Class PH suites are very nice;  are you in a aft suite or midship one? If you see above in post #87; that is our bedroom and balcony.  we were aft on CB

not going to repost the pics ... again ... but wow, now I see what people have been posting about the balconies on the Royal and Regal ... so narrow ... it's almost a one person balcony now ... might as well take the 'extra' chair inside :classic_biggrin:

That is narrow for a suite

    • Didn’t C749 have that fan motor running all the time that you could hear when you stepped out on your balcony.  Or I could be wrong. It might have been on a higher deck. It drove me crazy🤔

Yes the fan was there. It was like a white noise machine. Not a big deal for me.

  4. Since EWR is airport close to cruise port; you can stay at the Marriott which is right at airport; you can almost walk to it. Right outside airport and within easy taxi to port; are all your normal hotel chains. Hilton, HGI, Courtyard, etc.  From hotel you could take uber or lyft or taxi.

  5. skynight, you sign up for the ocean medallion program thru the ocean ready app or by logging into ocean.com directly.  You can complete your profile info a month prior to your sailing.  When do you sail? You do not sign up thru your personalizer. Even though you have all your info in cruise personalizer completed; the ocean medallion program is an additional way for you to get a medallion and sea card.  If you choose to complete your medallion information you will need to submit a photo of yourself and your passport info.  You do this by taking a selphie of yourself; or have someone take your picture with your ipad; and you use the camera on your ipad to scan the barcode of your passport.  If this seems too complicated; no sweat; just wait until you arrive at the port. In the meantime; just print out your boarding pass from your cruise personalizer.

  6. go to website ocean.com and you can fill out all your info there.  Yes you can use ocean ready app on ipad or any android tablet. If you do not complete the ocean medallion prior to boarding; once you arrive at the port there will be ocean medallion staff members there who will direct you to medallion area so you can fill out all the info and get your medallion

  7. The best thing about CC dining is no wait.  At least the two cruises we've been on we never waited. We had table for four on first cruise and table for two on second cruise.  The waitstaff are pretty good;  like mentioned by skynight; the menu is same as mdr, but they normally have a special for CC.  On our cruise in Feb, one night they were preparing fresh pasta with an arribiatta maranara sauce at your table;  they brought a table on wheels to your table and mixed it at the table.  On other nights they would do things like that.  Get ready you will love it

Thank You AF-1 for you fantastic review. We will be on the CB in May and I have an additional question for you. Do you recall if a Caribbean Night menu is still included in the main dining room?  And if so do you recall which day it was served?  I want to make our reservations for the Crown Grill on that night. 😂😂

I don’t have an answer.  We only ate in club class dining two nights. The other five nights we ate other places.  The two nights we did eat there one was Italian night and the other was regular menu.
