  1. One of our Alaska cruises was on Radiance in a corner aft junior suite (1100). Cabin has a very large balcony that was great for glacier viewing. Cabin has a sofabed for two, though it is kind of snug. There is also a large walk-in closet and bathroom with a tub. Was plenty of room for two and wouldn't be bad for 4.
  2. My neighbors have a large raised bed garden and also picked everything before the first freeze. They had been ripening things in paper bags and have frozen a bunch of tomatoes. They left Wednesday night for a month long trip out of the country and gave us all the tomatoes before they left. There is no way we will eat all of what they gave us, so I am going to try making sauce with them. They also left 10 pounds of red onions. Thinking we might make salsa too.
  3. If you look at the deck plans, the cabins that are connected with an internal door have a double-sided arrow between them. 10544 and 10546 are a connecting pair with 10546 having a sofabed that sleeps two. The sofabed can be setup at two different levels as part of it is like a trundle that gets pulled out.
  4. We have seen kids many times because it is a less chaotic place for parents to take kids. Some DL are much better at having some kind of food present all day long, whether it is continental breakfast in the morning, cookies and small sandwiches at lunch, and hot/cold appetizers at happy hour along with some small desserts.
  5. No, they do not allow you to bring someone onboard as a visitor. There are some exceptions, like guests of an onboard wedding who aren't actually sailing, travel agents doing a ship visit, and likely a few others.
  6. I am not arguing at all, I have provided actual facts from actual cruises that we have taken. I am not posting blocks of text that is grabbed from who knows where. Many have tried to explain things to you and you don't want to see it. Carry on... Maybe someone else can get you to understand.
  7. Not playing word games with you tonight as you will not see what many are telling you. Not even reading what you posted as you manipulated my post and I am not going back to see what is actually my words and what are yours.
  8. Nice dodge. I still stand by my statement, you need to read the policy as you are confusing yourself. As far as your latest "challenge" for someone to find you a different policy than some policy you posted who knows where, the website is outdated and the letters left in cabins listing benefits are what passengers are receiving.
  9. If one spouse cruises more than another, both spouses get the status of the spouse with the higher points total no matter what level. It is not unique to Pinnacle.
  10. It is not unique to Pinnacle. You should go back and read some of the links that you post.
  11. From their posts, it looks like they were on Mariner, which is a hard DL to get a table for 2, let alone 7 during happy hour.
  12. Very surprised the concierge didn't put a stop to this. Really hard to believe since it isn't unlimited drinks in the DL anymore. Appetizers aren't worth the embarrassment of being thrown out.
  13. Way back then it was credits, not points. Any cruise less than 9 or 10 nights, forget which, got one credit. Suites got two credits. When the conversion from credits to points happened, each credit got 7 points and then a "fudge factor" depending on you level at the time. Those with a lot of 3 or 4 night cruises did great. Those with longer cruises lost out. Some it actually took longer to reach next level because of how the numbers worked. Many who did the 3 nighters in Florida and California were very happy.
  14. Facial recognition is CBP. If you don't get a green light, you have to go meet with someone.
  15. I am following posts on FB for the community my Mom's house in Florida is in. There is already a sailboat into their pier. She is up in NH but her Florida home is in Sebastian.
  16. The older ships were beached and scrapped. There is nothing in mothballs.
  17. Portland, Maine also had a similar ballot question on Tuesday but it did not pass.
  18. Make sure you cancel any of those other bids so you don't end up getting a bid accepted for something you now already self upgraded to.
  19. Most crews have some strong, competent people and then the drama children. This crew doesn't even seem to have strong leaders at this point. The bosun is too laid back and the chief steward hasn't shown she can lead as of yet. The two other stews have worked together in the past and have history. One of them has a large social media presence and refers to the facts that aren't known. Deck crew is already having issues and the preview for next week shows more is coming.
  20. You should look back at your records, it has not sailed from Port Canaveral.
  21. No, your benefits to not extend to your cabin mate. Your 5 drink vouchers can be used anywhere on the ship and at anytime, so you won't miss out.
