  1. We're on this sailing too and have already applied. I love Bermuda, but do agree that the extra hoops to jump through cause anxiety.
  2. She was able to purchase the refreshment package without me purchasing it. A couple weeks later, I did purchase the coffee card.
  3. I actually advised her to cancel those today, as she could always repurchase them if she does test negative two days prior to the cruise.
  4. Canada/NE cruise. I'm also assuming that if she is a no show, RCL will refund her refreshment package and her wifi pkg. Yes?
  5. Cruising soon, and my friend that I'm rooming with has cold symptoms. Took an at home test yesterday and it was negative, took another today, and it was positive. She's going to go get a pcr test today. IF she is positive, obviously, she is not going. I do want to still go. When I check in at the pier, do I notify them that she is a no show or not say anything? I understand that no shows should receive port fees and gov. taxes back. On another note, we do have travel insurance (not RCL's insurance).
  6. I'm booked on this cruise and do not get this notification when logging in to the app.
  7. I remember back around 2004, during the fall, RCL had 10 nights to the Caribbean round trip out of Boston. Sure wish they'd do that again.
  8. That's great to know about the Summit, as we will also be cruising on her on the 15th of Oct.
  9. I am due to get a refund from Hotwire, and did rebook on Hotwire for Riverside Hotel.
  10. For those of you who have cruised out of Boston the past couple weeks, can you please tell me what ship you were cruising on and what time boarding started for people with regular cabins. If you cruised on Royal Caribbean, would you please let me know if there was a special line for diamond members also. Thank you. We're cruising on the Voyager on the 25th of this month, and we have 1:30 pm reservations in Chops for lunch. Does anybody know if we have not been able to board in time if we will be given a credit for what we paid for our embarkation lunch?
  11. I would suggest purchasing some proctored covid test kits from emed.com. If you ordered them today, you should have them by Monday.
  12. We are also on the Summit repo, and already paid our $40 pp two days ago to Bermuda. I figured since Celebrity didn't cancel Bermuda with the other ships which it did, we'd pay our fee and do the Bermuda Authorisation when it became available.
  13. That's good to know. We will be cruising on the Summit Oct. 15th, and I enjoy going and watching others sing, even the bad ones, because lots of times, they are just truly having a ball!
  14. All I can say is we were ordering doubles most of the time on our Rotterdam cruise last March, and we were tipping.
  15. Thank you very much joyandjerry and marycruz for clarifying the procedure for me.
  16. Did you do separate travel authorisations for each of you and just used the same email address?
  17. I've stayed there last March. My room was clean. Basically needed a place to crash for the night - someplace inexpensive. (I wouldn't go there for a land vacation, that's for sure!) We normally stay at the Sonesta on FLL Beach, but their prices have gone through the roof.
  18. I did ready a lot of posts regarding the Bermuda Authorisation forms, but did not find my answers. 1. Do I need to do the form separately for myself and then one for my husband, or can you put more than one person when applying? 2. Can I use the same email address for my husband that I use for me?
  19. Don't feel badly. I am technically challenged too. I plan on applying for the authorisation form on my laptop, as opposed to my phone. So, to get ready, I took a picture of our passports and of our covid vaccine cards and moved pictures to my desktop. Hopefully, it's an easy process to upload them to the application. I'm totally stressed about this.
  20. Although we have not applied for our Bermuda Authorisation yet (we will in a couple days, as our trip is the middle of Oct.), would you please give me the email address you emailed Bermuda. Thank you.
  21. I'm booked at the above for Jan. for one night (booked through Hotwire months ago). However, I periodically read the reviews. After reading the latest one, I got concerned that this place is no longer open. I tried calling the hotel directly. No answer at the front desk. I tried a couple times. I then tried to see if I could book directly on the hotels website. There are showing no availability for any dates that I can see (even for months after I'm supposed to be staying there). I did contact Hotwire to let them know and ask what there policy is regarding my reservation should the hotel be closed. I'm just wondering if anybody in the FLL area knows if this place is still in business.
  22. It just had me a little concerned that I may have missed Canada updating their "fully vaccinated" definition. And as I stated, I could not find that on Canada's covid protocols requirements. I just thought if someone had seen these requirements updated on Canada's covid protocols site, they could confirm it.
  23. I did read this on Holland's site today, and just wondered why I could not find it on Canada's covid protocols. It just had me wondering. This is dated September 8th at the bottom of the page.
  24. I read numerous cruise boards, as we have numerous cruises booked on several lines in the coming months. I just found it odd that Holland states for Canada that you must have a booster if more than 5 months since your last shot and wondered why. As far as being 72 hours before embarkation, and not three days, I do know that. And actually, you do not need a covid test for Canada if arriving by water, UNLESS it is a cruise ship.
