  1. My cruise is May 6 and the check in date listed is March 22 on the app.
  2. I have always been able to get the same table/waitstaff with MTD. Never had to tip to get it. I make reservations for approximately the same time each night and head to the MDR when I board to check out tables. FYI, unless your sailing allows you to eat prior to sunset, windows turn into mirrors after dark. I sure as heck don’t need to watch myself eat!
  3. We have SAS booked from FLL area hotel to POM and then back to FLL. I am concerned about my brother’s return flight @ 12:20 on a Saturday (ours is 1:15). I have tried to get an idea of what time we should be outside to get a shuttle that will get him to FLL by 11am but cannot get SAS to respond. So I am looking at the logistics of him using an Uber instead. Can someone walk me through this scenario as a person who has never used an Uber? Does this need to be arranged in advance? What time should pick up be to get to the airport by 11? Are Ubers readily available at POM? It would be 3 adults plus luggage, estimated cost? Thanks guys, I am clueless here!

  5. Did you mean if you have a DBP booked for 1 person & refreshment package for another? Or 1 person booking both packages? Why would you want to do that?

  8. Yes, Marriot calls them vacation clubs. We don’t own, just booked rooms. It’s a beautiful property! If their sales presentation hadn’t been so obnoxious, hubby & I would seriously consider buying in just to stay there for a couple weeks every winter.
  9. No but I got NO services. My gratuities on the ship get me meals and room cleaning.
  10. We stayed at a Marriott Vacation Club and no housekeeping. If we needed anything, we texted the front desk & someone delivered more coffee pods/creamer/towels. We were there for 5 days and yes the trash needed to be emptied. Although not cleaning my room, there was always someone from housekeeping in the area during the day so we just tied up the can liner & gave it to them.

  12. We gate checked the car seat when we flew with granddaughter as a lap baby. When we took the 2 year old, we purchased an FAA compliant car seat and used it on the plane. It was great as he was used to sitting in one, jumped right in and slept the whole flight. Just asking, do you trust rental car seats?
  13. Well I guess I will see for myself in May but it sounds like major first world problems to me. I haven’t heard one issue I can’t handle myself. And I don’t mind doing so. I don’t need to be waited on hand & foot.
  14. You have access to the cruise planner as soon as you book. Not everything will be available at first (depending on when you book) but it’s there. I was booking MTD reservations 9 months out.
  15. Can I ask if that’s the same terminal Harmony sails from? Is that terminal A?
  16. Ship water tastes way better than Florida water!!! I drink the water served on the ship all the time.
  17. Whether it was or wasn’t in the past, a second cleaning is now a perk. Rooms are being serviced. Your room is indeed cleaned every day. The second go through is now a perk. If you want it, you must book accordingly.
  18. Beverage packages, except the soda package, include bottled water. Pick some up from any bar.
  19. Suites, C&A level 🤷‍♀️. Many perks others don’t get. TSA Precheck gets me through security faster. It’s a perk for which I pay extra. You want the perk? Pay for it. This is no different.
