Not true. I emailed 2 weeks prior to our cruise requesting a table for 2 and had no issue getting it with MTD. In our small 5 Cruise experience, we have never shared a table.

I’m GUESSING, and only guessing as I don’t sail until May, if it’s on the evenings menu, you can get the side from one dish added to another, appetizers as entrees and the like. What I expect they are eliminating is the totally off menu ordering. It’s early in the process and it will evolve as time goes by.

I use my rewards CC to pay any and all bills that do not charge a fee to do so and, yes, there are a few places that will. For me, it’s mostly my electric bill, mortgage, municipal taxes/services. I will pay as many as those type by electronic transfer but I still write maybe 2 checks per month. I alway laughed when people would come into the Town Tax Office, not want to pay the service charge and loudly announce they don’t even remember how to write a check. I tell them it’s ok, we help many elderly residents write their checks & I’d be happy to assist them too!

Since you have people in full suites, they will be contacted by the concierge sometime around a week before the cruise. Tell them you have JS family members you’d like to include in your CK reservations. They were very accommodating.

Was on her in March, ship was amazing. If the AC doesn’t work, open the door to the balcony at night. At least you’ll have fresh air.

To me most white fish tastes the same. I’ve eaten them all & none have killed me. Grew up on fresh caught flounder but haddock, cod, tilapia, they’re all fine.

OMG, I LOVE fish tacos!! They are my go to order In Mexican restaurants here in CT. I’ve also had really good ones at Chuy’s when I visit my daughter in Florida.

I will miss the short ribs and especially the Coq Au Vin. I see a lot of white fish in my future.

It would seem logical that medical dietary restrictions would have to be accommodated even if they are trying to cut down on non medically necessary requests. You know the kind “I’ll have the salmon but could I get a horseradish sauce instead of the butter and could you grill it instead of sautéing it oh and I really don’t like salmon so could you substitute sole?” 🙄

Yes I’m sure staffing is an issue but I’ve been on 2 cruise in the last 10 months and not yet been served rubber chicken. I am taking a wait and see attitude here. I’m guessing I will like some things and not others. I won’t starve.

Yes the Springfield location is about 10 miles from me. Just no desire to go. Really the only buffet I ever go to is WJ for bacon & roasted chicken!!

Oh we loved the solarium on Explorer! I am an early riser so we always got prime seating opposite the bar. We hung out there every day. I got a great tan & enjoyed chatting, drink in hand, with the pool folks.
