I recently switched mine from Juneau to the Skagway one. It was $50 cheaper. I heard its the same exact as the one in Juneau, just a different glacier. However the one I am doing is he helicopter one. As far the ones without the helicopter, thy are both pretty much the same as well, just different location.

They still have regular just for fun karaoke.

You'll never know, unless you ask. Can't hurt. Good luck :)

Love reading these reviews for this particular, cruise. Gets me more and more excited for my upcoming trip on the Ruby to Alaska.
-
Just cancel and rebook for peace of ind.

They have not restricted any of this. I've seen plenty of people put a luggage tag around their case of water, and give it to the porters along with their luggage,
-
I've read that a lot of people LOVE with the window suites, as they are very spacious with great views.

You're making me hungry. I've done a few of the CT's, but on on the Regal and Royal a few times. The food is always amazing. My favorite part is when I don;t know what I am eating, as I am perfectly fine with it, because I always feel like I've died and gone to heaven.

Looks Fabulous!

So, I notice Princess now sells their new luxury mattress and bedding to the public. Does anyone know who actually manufactures these mattresses?
-
Was about to post the same question. Was thinking of possibly doing it for Glacier Bay. Curious to know others thoughts on this.

Princess is Casual, Elegant, and Traditional. A massive upgrade from Carnival all around. Princess is also a much more quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

I've signed up for this too. From what I read, no you don;t need to pack books. They will provide boots for you.
We are signed up the the Mendenhall Glacier trip where we take a helicopter to go dog sledding. The information states that they provide you with "Glacier Overboots" what exactly is that? Does that mean I don't have to buy/pack boots if this is our only glacier related activity? I have two kids coming and would love to not have to purchase those just for this trip. Thanks! -
This was the first one I have ever received before. I also just heard about upsells maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago on here.
I'm at Elite loyalty level but I've never had an upsell :( the upsell fairy needs to fly across the water ..... -
In the email received, It did mention the offer was for past passengers.
I have never had an up sell from any cruise line - is this for US customers only or frequent Princess cruisers? -
YOU'RE AMAZING!!!! Its so nice to gift a cruise to your parents. I have done it annually 2 times a year for my parents. Its no nice to treat them, after all they have done for me. Honestly, they smiles are pirceless and worth every single penny.

Awesome!!!!!

That's GREAT!!!! See that's a much better upsell offer then what I was offered. Congrats on going to a much larger room. Great Deal!!!!
On Regal Princess touring the Baltic, we sai yes to an upsell offered three days before sailing. Went from a guaranteed interior,IF to a beautiful balcony for $229pp. Grabbed it.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Best of luck to you!

What a great view!!!! If I weren't travel solo, then the the additional cost for the balcony would not bother me. With paying for flights, double occupancy, and a bunch of fabulous shore excursions, this in the first time in my cry cruise history I have ever done anything smaller than a balcony cabin. I am blessed to live in Ft. Lauderdale, where the port is in my backyard, and I don't have to worry about all of these additional fees like flights. Its ok. I am just excited to be going to Alaska to enjiy the breath taking scenery.
View from a balcony on the side of the ship on an Alaska cruise. Having a balcony was worth it. -

Nice!!!!
i received and accepted an upsell on our recent world cruise from the lowest priced mini to an owners suite. I'd do it again in a heartbeat for that long of a cruise. -
I totally agree, as I would prefer a lower fare as well. I don't really drink, so sip and sale does nothing for me.
Thanks! I know many on these boards just love this promo, personally I prefer a lower fare!! But would never argue with both!Sent from my iPhone using Forums
