I perked up to see this, but unfortunately I think that’s old. Quest did go there for one season and possibly this is left over from then. I searched for Alaska under destinations on Azamara and it was not there. I would love to see them go back to Alaska. New offerings for 2024 are due to come out end of summer or early Fall, so I have been told by my TA. Let’s cross our fingers that Alaska might be offered again.

I didn’t think they are bringing back books into the new Atlas bar, but they are going on shelves in the living room…..isn’t that correct?

All this OBC with Azamara promotions started way back during the time of Larry Pimentel. It is a gimmick that I really don’t care for. I would rather pay less in cruise fare…..period. I have never had so much OBC to spend that I really have to worry about, but I know some people do. You can accumulate a lot with big suites and back to backs, neither of which I have had the opportunity to do.

I also used the email address and just took photo of stock account (with important acct info blocked out).

Submitted today for 2:upcoming cruises and received acknowledgement of shareholder credit a few hours later…..fastest service ever!!

We were regular Celebrity cruisers and then we went back to Azamara for the last couple of cruises. We will be cruising again on Celebrity in September, so we will be making some comparisons of our own. It s been since 2015 since we were last on Celebrity. I think it’s good to vary it up a bit! 😀

@XcelsiorAppreciate your review. Can you tell us more what the entertainment was on your cruise that you disliked? My last cruise in Dec on Quest I enjoyed the entertainment, so I wonder if something has changed or if we just have different tastes in entertainment. Thanks.

It sounds like there are not too many CC events to even look forward to. There used to be a general party for all CC members, with dancers and music and food. There was a cocktail party with senior officers…….what’s left?

Are there still special gatherings on the bow for sailaway? We have yet to experience one. It used to be that CC Host would give invites to Elites and above.

Well, isn’t that interesting?! Having gone thru the daily spit test in April on Viking, I wouldn’t relish doing that again! It was harder than I imagined it would be to do that every am. And, yes, it does keep you on edge every time the phone rings in the cabin! And now they aren’t even enforcing a test prior to boarding?! Quite a reversal!! Judging by the what I read on the Viking forum earlier, quite a few regulars were saying they would wait on cruising under those conditions. Not surprised they took the opportunity of US no longer requiring a test for rentry to change things up.

I don’t remember any in CC in Dec. ??? We didn’t miss it, however. 😀

I can’t remember! We were on in Dec. I think I would remember if there was one and we were in a CC suite.
