  1. Here's a port we've seen before, at least this photograph has a ship !
  2. Thanks for reporting back, have a great trip.
  3. I spent this afternoon driving through Wales for a meeting in Shropshire tomorrow. Lots of lambs in gangs and a glimpse of a red kite made the miles bearable !
  4. I don't iron but if I did I would iron very slowly if anyone used an "army voice" when talking to me.
  5. There's very little obstruction of the Deck 5 balcony cabins.
  6. There's no dinner in the Golden Lion. Alternative dining is available every night but as far as I know the evening dress code applies.
  7. How long have you had them ? New notes were introduced in February 2020.
  8. It might change depending on where the ship is sailing.
  9. It's basic compared to what is offered on other lines I understand.
  10. You can access your account once you are onboard via My Voyage. https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/the-cunard-experience/my-voyage
  11. The OP is asking about bears on the original Queen Mary in Long Beach not on board QM2.
  12. There's no need to buy a package at all. If they don't work for you just pay as you go.
  13. Deck 8 also has Britannia Club cabins so they're not all cheaper but generally I would check what is above your cabin. Being underneath cabins will be quieter than under open deck.
  14. This thread might help, it's not as big a deal as it was before there was evening anytime dining.
  15. I've done the early January crossing but it was in 2010 so things may have changed. We were originally due to fly back from New York after the Caribbean Christmas sailing but a few months before Cunard made us an offer we couldn't refuse to sail instead. The sailing is usually the end of the Christmas round trip for European passengers and the beginning of the World Cruise for Americans. It's also packaged as New Year in New York and sail home.
  16. All the information you need should be here - https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/the-cunard-experience/sailing-with-confidence/preparing-to-sail
  17. This rower contacted Cunard via the Contact Us section of the website and almost by return was sent 3 names for insight speakers for our June cruise. I'll report back on how accurate the information is.
  18. I had an acknowledgement email when our bids were submitted.
  19. Thank you, that's the view I was looking for!
