  1. That's what it says but we've not had a package so I don't have any first hand experience. We like a drink but we'd struggle to get value out of it on a port intensive cruise. We just pay as we go.
  2. Gratuities are currently $11.50 per day in Britannia. There are various packages, the most comprehensive is - Beers, Wines & Spirits Option Adults $70 per day Our most comprehensive selection, the Beers, Wines & Spirits Option, includes most alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as a wide variety of speciality hot drinks up to $12 per serving, as well as all the benefits of the Premium Non-Alcoholic Drinks Option. Includes: > An incredible array of beers, spirits, liqueurs, cocktails and wines by the glass > Unlimited soft drinks and fruit juices, mocktails and small bottles of mineral water (500ml) > Unlimited speciality coffees, teas, and hot chocolates >20% discount on any drinks not included in the Beers, Wines, & Spirits Option
  3. No luck, I've never heard of anyone having anything confiscated.
  4. You might want to post your more detailed questions on the Cunard board.
  5. The OP's question was about the condition of the ship.
  6. That's changed, there is now an open dining option in the main dining room as well as 2 sittings.
  7. The OP did ask for suggestions for the UK ....
  8. You have been posting on the roll calls for February 27th and March 27th so you are getting updates from both roll calls. Are you only on the sailing in February?
  9. Do you have a John Lewis? They usually have formal wear. If you don't mind second hand, I have had good bargains on Ebay or Vinted.
  10. That's not correct, the dress code on Cunard is the same in all the formal dining rooms.
  11. Missed the first set of fireworks but enjoyed those
  12. If you're leaving Southampton on the World Cruises or a segment, have a wonderful time.
  13. They will show when you log in at My cunard. When are you sailing?
  14. I might have had some help from Google!
  15. That's good to hear @DaisyDancerbecause I think that was a busy cruise wasn't it ?
  16. They do try to help by having a Northern Territory at the "top" and a South Australia at the "bottom". North is still in same direction even in the Southern Hemisphere.
  17. Have you sailed since this was introduced fully ? - voyages departing on Monday the 3rd of October 2022 aboard Queen Elizabeth, Sunday the 23rd of October 2022 aboard Queen Victoria and Tuesday the 1st Of November 2022 aboard Queen Mary 2. I know some people were unhappy with the interim arrangements on QM2 with no fixed second sitting but is the new system working OK?
  18. 1. I can imagine 2. They will take fare type into account when allocating your dining. You might not get what you request but there is open dining as well as fixed sittings now. 3. In some ports shuttle buses are included for everyone. In others your ships card will be scanned and you will be charged. It's certainly a way of saving money when the difference is substantial.
  19. Better is very subjective but if you thought Queen Victoria was run down you probably wouldn't enjoy QM2 There are some comments in this recent thread.
  20. Thank you for the update. Have a great trip.
  21. Thanks for the reports from the ship, I hope you are enjoying your trip.
