Was it the same the cake with roses on top that they show on their website? (either the chocolate or white-chocolate fondant version)
Based on the comments on this thread, I would like to know if the cake they advertise even exists.
Yes the cake they showed but ours was for the anniversary.

I have an unusual question. We are sailing on the Navigator next month with family and we are bringing a game that requires poker chips. Does anyone know if there are any in the game room? I highly doubt that the casino would lend us any. JK [emoji12]

We were in the library and brought our own games. There are games but I don’t recall anyone playing poker.

We took her last year the Sunday after Thanksgiving. A group of 4 couples and we are all still talking about it. Wishing we were going soon but alas Christmas is a land vacation with our youngest grands. :D

DH just got this from AT&T
From AT&T: No additional cost!!!
AT&T Free Msg: To thank you we added 5GB
more data to your Mobile Share Value plan you don't have to do a thing. And we added unlimited calling from the U.S. to Mexico & Canada for each line on your plan. You will keep the add'l data thru 2017 if you stay on this new 20GB plan. Int'l pay per use rates will apply when you call other countries (see
att.com/wcv). View your account anytime at att.com/myatt
Soon perhaps all international calling so we don't have to upgrade while out of the country!

When we went to Europe, we bought the bottles with the charcoal filters. This was really great when off the ship. The bottled water there is very expensive and this save us lots of money. We filled them on the ship, cooled them in the cooler and refilled as we went during the day. This was the best investment we made to save money. We actually took them the last cruise. We never got sick from drinking the local water and I have always had issues with that part! May they have a blast!
BTW you can get these next day delivery from Amazon. We use Brita as you can replace the filter easily.

My husband contacts AT&T. We use the text a lot when on a cruise. Since I don't know how old your children are, that might not work. We have never been disappointed with the AT&T plans for being abroad.

I am suggesting you check with your Roll Call or the ports at

You might want to check the port information. Another good place is your Roll Call as people who are repeating will have valuable information also. Here is the port link;

We are sailing the Eastern Caribbean route on 23rd August, can't wait! As I say, we aren't trying to play the system in any way, I just want to explain to my teens what the rules are so that we are clear from the start! [emoji3]

Thank you for being responsible parents! It is great you took time to ask! Hope you all have a phenomenal cruise!:)

There have been some reviews which had information about these rooms. There is not much around there but evidently the crew cleaning was somewhat loud. This may have gotten better since the beginning after the refurb.

I'm in school also and our last cruise 9 months ago on NOS, I used the internet to access Scribe which is a lot like Blackboard. No issue except in the room the internet was slower at times. My next cruise I will have graduated! I never want to take another cruise and have worry about work or school work! :D

RCI has major technical problems. You'll be fine...no worries!
I have had the compare the address and I personally would not take any chance that I would owe more money when I get to the cruise.
You could call back again. Personally I would feel better if I said what it should. Take no chance would be me!

Welcome to Cruise Critic! Love NOS! Suggest you sign up for your Meet and Mingle after joining your Roll Call at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35
You will glean so much information from your fellow cruisers. There are lots of reviews on here about the NOS.
Read, enjoy and have a blast! :D

Just arrived home from RC cruise.
Little French key is awesome for any group.
Great for kids if watched around the cat and monkeys.
Water perfect, drinks cheap.
Cab fare was a 80 dollar attempt by the taxi **** at the gate.
I said no way and started to walk he agreed to 40 for me and my wife both ways. The driver was nice and when we arrived at LF Key he said 40 $
I said no 40 on return, there was no problem. He picked us up and I gave him 50. The ride was about 20 minutes tops each way.
I did not catch this was your first post to CC. Welcome! Please note how valuable CC is in helping to save a lot of dollars! Could have saved you paying for a taxi! I am sort of confused as when we made our reservation we were told where to meet the LFK bus for the ride. Did you not make reservations? Thanks!

I was sure the ride to/from the cruise terminal was in the price for the day. I know we did not pay LFK that much for the ride per person. There were 8 of us also.

Thank you for sharing! We loved that ship!

A few weeks ago I booked a 35 night B2B on Explorer OTS for UNDER $50pp per night. (doesn't include taxes or tips, but doesn't include over $500 OBC either) :D
What level of room is this for and would you share the dates? :D

Mazatlán Frank is still arranging tours but not conducting them personally. Probably because he is back in Canada, his home country. You can find him at http://www.mazatlan-frank.com/

Below there is a lot about Atlantis on the Nassau Bahamas string. Would be good to check it out. They talk about getting the tickets for Atlantis on the cruise ship.

Sounds great! Sometimes it is nice to take a land vacation. My favorite spot is Hawaii and am wishing I was going there soon! Thank you for this information
-
My DH has talked about taking a cruise around the islands. Personally, I love Hawaii and taking land trips has worked great for me. Years ago when RCI was sailing out of San Pedro to San Diego, Catalina Island and then to Ensenada, we took this short cruise with our adult children and their spouses. I am wondering why you could not board in San Diego, go to Ensenada and then to HI? My Mexican friends dislike trying to get into Mexico through Tijuana! It certainly is not a good experience!
"We stayed at the Wyndham right across the street from B street pier...so handy and very satisfactory hotel for cruising. We ate at Anthony's Fish Grotto also across the street and right on the water. We found the food pretty good." One of our favorite hotels and we love Anthony's! Just makes our SD trip!
Thank you for sharing! Love Hawaii and may one day cruise there!

Anyone ever stayed in 9308?
We had that suite out of Rome and were so impressed with the size of the balcony, we did it a second time after the refurbished. We really liked the size of the room and balcony. It seemed larger than other JS we have been in. We would do it again on the same class ship. ;) Friends had the exact same on the other side of the hump and loved it.

Great start, Thank-you. Yes! we want more. Sailing this Sunday. Did you use internet? Wondering how is is working. Last year it was not so good.
We were on the last of November 2014-December 2014. I am in online university and bought the WIFI. We are diamond and got a discount. Cost was just over $200. It worked great. My husband had it for his phone and I had it for my notebook. I spent quite a bit of time on it, never got kicked out. There were some slow times but not bad. I would do it again.
If you are thinking about ordering a RCCL Celebration Cake on-line......

Actually we shared our Anniversary cake with 8 people. It is marzipan and very tasty. They do a piece of cake or such for a birthday but we wanted something for the entire table. We were happy with it and would do it again. Beauty of decorating is in the eye of the beholder.
