We are cruising on the Coral Princess 31 days end April, just wondering if they still sell the wine package of 6 bottles, can anyone please confirm if this still is available on board. Many thanks

Will be interesting to see as we got an email saying not calling into Sounds and Bay of Islands due to not being able to have the hull cleaned, would be a lovely surprise if they manage to do it.

We will be in Christchurch next week and doing our own thing, we are thinking of catching the No. 28 bus into Christchurch from Llyetton, doing the Gondola ride, does anyone know much about Waka on Avon, someone on cruise critic mentioned it a while ago and I just wondered if we will have time to do the Gondola and if the Waka on Avon is walking distance from the Gondola ride, any assistance would be great, thank you.

In South Australia, hospitals masks are required, when it comes to doctor surgeries, depends on the surgery themselves as to whether they require you to wear masks.

Agree with you about the hand washing one of the most important things and a lot of the ships, don't enforce it the only one that seems to is Royal Caribbean.

Yes we have been advised will be missing the Fiords and Bay of Islands, going by itinerary still going to Dunedin, Wellington Lyttleton(Christchurch) and Auckland. Whether we will be in Auckland longer due to not going to Bay of Islands not known.

What ports of call did you do in New Zealand, we have just been advised that we will not be calling into the Sounds and Bay of Islands as Cunard have not been able to clean the hull?

When we were on Sapphire Princess 2018 we got a wine package, they are good value, so I hope they bring them back as the drink packages are not worth it for us.

We are travelling with a friend who has not been to Dunedin before, we have, however, did not do Larnach Castle or Olveston Historic House, for anyone who has been to Dunedin, would you recommend one over the other. I believe Olveston is in Dunedin, however, Larnach Castle is a drive, any assistance/information to help would be great. Many thanks

There are quite a few cruise lines that cruise to New Zealand, we have done, Royal Carribean, Princess, Celebrity, doing Cunard next month. Princess will be Australian dollars onboard, whereas Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Cunard US dollars. I think the main difference between these cruise lines and Viking is there are no casinos on board Viking and I believe child free (not 100% sure), and Viking will be US dollars. Most of the cruises do the Fjords Milford Sound, and normally both the North and South Islands, hope this helps and does not confuse you more.
