  1. I'm sorry about your friend, Susie. May she rest in peace. I'm sure she would want you to have an awesome cruise on Reflection as do I. I look forward to following your thread.
  2. Better late than never! I'm glad to read that you enjoyed your first Celebrity cruise. Thanks for posting your review.
  3. I just received via email the 7 question survey which is worth 10 PUPs. I received a very similar if not identical survey from the Royal Caribbean Group. That email was sent on Jan 23 and, of course, with no PUPs to be earned.
  4. Reflection's Sunset Bar is much larger and nicer than the one on Equinox. Not sure how it compares with Beyond.
  5. I’m not sure why you are having that problem. You should be able to make multiple specialty restaurant reservations multiple times. Cruise Planner will not allow you to make conflicting reservations but that error message is pretty clear.
  6. On our last two Solstice sailings, the latest you could disembark varied between 9:10 am (Sydney, Jan 2020) and 10:30 am (Hong Kong, Jan 2024). Below are the links to the disembarkation schedule that the ship published for those two sailings. The information also includes the hours that breakfast was available at the various dining rooms. Jan 2020, Solstice, Sydney Jan 2024, Solstice, Hong Kong Vancouver is a beautiful city. The idea of taking either a Celebrity tour or a independently arranged tour of Vancouver with a drop off at YVR is a great idea.
  7. We’ve done NYE for 4 different Celebrity cruises but none on Edge class ships. Celebrity does an excellent job with the onboard NYE experience. If you were trying to decide between Apex or Ascent, I would think that NYE experience would be similar. I would focus on itinerary. For example it’s nice to celebrate NYE when Jan 1 is a sea day.
  8. We usually go with Uber or a taxi. Shuttle can be cheaper, but you have to wait until the bus is filled before it leaves.
  9. In the situation you described, you should not lose your booking-on-board OBC.
  10. Super-congratulations to you for getting a permit and for completing the hike to the Wave!!!!!!!! It's funny, my family and I did our hike during the month of February.as well because it was a 60th birthday present to myself. We lucked out as our weather was pretty decent on that February day in 2020--sunny and I think the temperature was in the upper 50's maybe low 60's but it was a bit windy. I hope your weather conditions were good and snow-free. Please post pictures. My apologies to the OP for this temporary deviation from topic (but this is a big deal). Your next mission is to catch the total solar eclipse on Apr 8.
  11. It was worth 30 PowerUp Points last time.
  12. I am on the same Solstice sailing as you except one year later (2025). For us, Pago Pago is not available as a choice for making specialty dining reservations. It is missing altogether.
  13. You should be able to preserve your current booking along with the pricing for the 1st/2nd passengers if you drop the 3rd person from it. So only one new booking is needed and that would be for the new stateroom. One of the three passengers in the original stateroom will see an increase in their fare because the 3rd passenger fare will become 1st/2nd fare.
  14. Here is the updated itinerary for our 17 night (18 day) sailing--straight off Celebrity's website. In this version, one whole day in our cruise is missing--the day after our stop at Apia which is Pago Pago.
  15. Oh, shoot--the itinerary screenshot in my last post was the original one when the sailing was released. Lahaina has since been substituted with Kona (Big Island). Thanks for pointing that out.
  16. We are booked on the Apr 2025 Solstice Trans Pacific sailing and I am seeing the same problem on our Cruise Planner (1st screen shot). There is a complete day missing--the day after we cross the International Date Line. That is the day we call on Pago Pago (American Samoa), but you can see below that it is missing. Celebrity does something strange (to me) in the way that they count the days in our itinerary (2nd screen shot). It is 17 nights/18 days long, but only 17 days are listed below because the day before we cross the IDL and the day after have the same dates (Apr 18) which is correct--but the two different days are counted as one. It's like Celebrity's computers can't handle it. I think this day/date counting problem extends to the Cruise Planner.
  17. You have to apply for your own Vietnam E-Visa if you are from a country that requires one by the Vietnamese government
  18. Here is a link to the different tiers in Celebrity's Blue Chip Club: link
  19. All the activities were counted against the year that they were credited (not certified) because it was easier to count that way.
  20. A webinar in December that was credited in January. All the activities were counted that way (the year it was certified).
  21. There is no universal fixed time for the slot tournaments across the fleet, if that is what your asking. However I imagine that you might find some consistency for a given ship on the same itinerary (e.g. the first sea day on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean round trip sailing on Apex). If you find that the slot tournament timing doesn't work for you when you get on board, you can cancel and get your money back or OBC back if you purchased before your cruise. Just be sure to go to the casino as soon as it opens to find out when it is scheduled for.
