Agree itinerary is very important. I'm a destination cruiser, with the ship secondary as long as I feel safe.

Thank you. I love Norway. We have cruised on four big cruises with Hurtigruten (basic) and I would trust them with my life in Antarctica. I'm a last minute booker so I'll probably never get to cruise with Viking. unless they change their itinerary as they have just done in Australia.

Yes we normally have a car. The continuous shuttles for the Leura Garden Festival were great because you didn't have to look for a park at the popular gardens.

How was Viking? They are on my wish list.

Why baked beans? Because they are by the spoon full? I think cruiselines are short sighted in their decisions. Aged care centres learnt the hard way to make decisions on what is best for their centre, rather than blindly follow government decisions. I still listen to medical experts who I trust.

I wouldn't want to live there, but I love Finland. Have been there on a cruise. Took a Finnair flight from US to Aust., with a eleven hour stopover once. I could have gone into the city, but I stayed at the airport. They had cocoons which you pulled the lid down and slept in darkness. Endless food and drinks. They even warned me when flights were coming in, so I could stock up.

Yes I prefer cabins above and below, as there is less chance of excess noise at odd hours. I've only had one balcony and it was a very big one.
