Do ships of around 90K have a promenade dreck where you can walk right around the ship? Now that would be treasured Down Under. After all Australia has the climate for the outdoors. A treasured cruise memory is of my younger daughter and I sitting on deck chairs outside daily for high tea served from a trolley, by a waiter.
Yes, but I have old cars. My girlfriend is currently getting her house repainted Her painter said she was wise to get her house painted before the paint deteriorated. If my house was a ship, it is approaching the razor blade stage! Hate to think what my painting quote will be.
I was wondering if it was more financially viable to maintain old small ships because they can charge a premium for cruises?
Some of the small ships I’ve cruised on are owned by one company and leased by another company which runs the cruises.
I see Princess Anne has been to Canada for the weekend to receive an award. She is the hardest working member of the Royal Family. It is hard to believe she is 72. Good to see King Charles giving her a major role in the Coronation.

If you want a short tour Cape Willoughby is my favourite drive with beautiful scenery and a taste of lighthouse life.
However if you are up for a long drive across the island I agree with the other recommendations.
My mouth is watering thinking of Alaskan Crab. I shouted myself two mud crabs on my recent holidays. We can’t always get them so have to settle for the smaller sand crabs.
We used to be a lot more physical then, if
not sport then dancing, walking, etc. There was certainly plenty of food available on the ship, including mid night feasts.
Life was harder then. I went to a one teacher school once where a boy had to milk the cows before he came to school. He got the cuts if he was late, which seemed unfair to a city kid
We were just grateful to get a berth in a 4
berth cabin with strangers. Whilst I was shocked to be sharing with three “old ladies”,
they turned out to be the best room mates.
On my return cruise I shared with two young and one “old” lady. The young in this cabin weren’t as kind to the old lady as my old ladies were to me.
