  1. I think they are building more rooms. With all the gear to remember, don’t forget your wife!
  2. I’ve been wondering how the cruise planners can get it so wrong. It is not as if they don’t have enough time. Do they consult with local cruising planning experts? Do they follow cruising trends. Reading these threads alone demonstrates there is plenty of demand for cruising in Australia. But not at any cost!
  3. Thank you for the link. I recall you doing that unique cruise.
  4. Thank you Leigh for providing the recipe. I enjoyed reading it, but it confirmed I wouldn't want to make it. Fancy it currently being on MasterChef. Did anyone watch?
  5. I'm sorry to hear two of your cruises to and from NZ have been cancelled. If the new rescheduled cruises are not to your liking, I would take a full refund. At least you still have your five night cruise on 11/12 to Tasmania to trial the ship.
  6. Bon Voyage from Dubai to London. Plus enjoy your land travels.
  7. Yes, I didn't tour inside. No children should appeal to some passengers. I will be interested to read reviews.
  8. But I’m from Queensland. We have spiders everywhere. Our younger daughter, who was left home alone, sent us a text to say she was being taken over by spiders. daddy longlegs 😀
  9. Aren’t they going to Adelaide now? The only baddies I’ve heard of in Adelaide are sharks and mice plages. Am I missing something?
  10. When I visited my girlfriend's grandchildren in New York, they came out wide eyed with a book on all the "killer creatures" from Australia! Yet, when I was last in Canada/America, two bears killed people and I discovered Vancouver Island had cougars, with lots of books about them stalking people. How come we never hear about these "killer animals"?
  11. My daughter sent me a photo today of their first sea snake in the ocean. Eighty Mile Beach, WA.
  12. That sounds right, because it looks huge (rather ugly like sheep ship transport).
  13. Thanks. I have Nagi's book. I read the Sydney Morning Herald at the Library.
  14. I just stamp the floor and they get the message!
  15. Researching Resilient Lady which will home port in Melbourne 23/24. 2,770 passengers adults only 17 Decks 60,000 tonnage 26/11/2024 Darwin transit port call. She will arrive back in Sydney at 8 am on 3/12/24, dropping anchor at Athol Bay before relocating to OPT at 7pm. It is a similar process that will be repeated on other occasions when ship returns to Sydney. Brisbane cruise port shows two calls 23/12/24 and 2/1/25.
  16. I know you love your Queensland travels. Beautiful warm winter weather. Where is your talented granddaughter working now?
  17. Agree that pie looks a not so humble pie. So Yummy! I don’t buy Good Food just the weekend Travel Supplement.
  18. Not the prettiest part of Brisbane, but usually warmer than down south.
  19. Welcome to Coral Princess World Cruisers to Brisbane today, Tuesday, 6/6/23, 11-22c Cloudy. I hope everyone makes the most of the day in port because you have six sea days before Komoko, Indonesia on Tuesday, 13/6/23. Hope you are all settled in having fun! What an adventure awaits you!
  20. I think Princess Anne is impressive. She is 72, yet still flying to Canada for Royal duties twice within a month. I remember seeing in Antarctica a plaque on a tin shed saying Opened by Princess Anne.
  21. I see Princess Anne is making a return visit to Canada on Sunday for the Duke of Edinburgh Commonwealth Study Conference in Banff, Alberta.
  22. Our family are big Walt Disney World, Orlando, fans. My elder daughter is currently planning another trip to stay in the WDW Resort on her own. Her dog is named Fig, short for Figment of Your Imagination from WDW. I imagine the Disney magic would be similar on the ship.
