  1. From the Azamara website, use the Booked Guests tab. You can view all of the packages from there. Azamara Circle tab will take you to where you can view the Discoverer level benefits.
  2. From the website: Cruise Payment & Cancellation Terms | Azamara Cruises The Terms and Conditions for the promotion make no mention of the deposit being nonrefundable
  3. They totally have a refundable deposit except for 75.00 pp.
  4. because it is a new promotion, not just a drop in price, it is normal to have to rebook. Here in the US, it is just a portion of the deposit; I don't know how it's handled in Portugal.
  5. Excursions always go up in price the closer you get to your sail date, on all cruise lines, especially for tours that are popular.
  6. Most agents I know use the online booking engine, no need spending hours on the phone to book clients.
  7. Horrible on their part then! The agents I know have absolutely no problems booking Azamara since transitioning.
  8. not disorganized at all! The day before the first cruise ends, there will be a meeting for all b2b guests. at that time, you'll receive your new key card and be able to make any dining reservations you want and also buy your beverage package if you like. The next morning, you'll be asked to go to security at the door and check out with your old card; at that time, you'll activate your new card. Let the desk know that you need to do it as early as possible in order to meet your tour. They've always been very accomodating for us 🙂
  9. Thank you for sharing this, as I'm sure there are many stressed guests who didn't receive it 🙂
  10. Kevin, were you actually able to cancel it? You never did report back. Wasn't this the cruise that you chose to change the cruise date instead of take the refund when it was first offered?
  11. If you read back about his refund, I don't know if he was able to cancel it because of his booking circumstances.
  12. I think your agent is incorrect in saying that they can't speak directly to their BDM. Unless they are talking about their specific head of office where they work. BDM's are there to assist all agents in their territory. I'm sorry to hear that they won't step up for you
  13. That's as it's supposed to be in the US also. If it's booked through an agent, the agent is the only one to have contact regarding the booking itself.
  14. a couple things to keep in mind, the 2024 cruise is 2 nights longer. It may also be over Thanksgiving, making it a holiday cruise. Just looking at the current prices for the 2023 cruise, and it's currently more expensive than the 2024 cruise
  15. are you comparing prices to what you originally booked at?
  16. May be worth it to have your agent speak to another phone agent. If that doesn't work, they should contact their BDM for assistance. They each work with their own team to fix issues.
  17. All cruises I've looked at on many different cruiselines have risen dramatically. Prices dropped during covid to lure back guests; that is no longer necessary. Not to mention that their costs have also risen dramatically
  18. I know it’s difficult to wait. They are working through issues as quickly as they can. I have no doubt you’ll get your refund, and hopefully because of the circumstances, the entire amount. perhaps short staffed enough to not be able to respond as quickly as many expect.
  19. We love the cruise experience that Azamara gives us! I hope you enjoy yours as much as we always do 🙂
  20. If you have a TA they can submit your payment online. If not, you’ll need to call it in.
  21. Online booking engine works fine for all of the TA's I know
  22. Travel Agent! Why not have an advocate who will do the work for you?? Not a penny more than booking direct, and you may get additional perks to boot.

    New website.

obviously some of us are having more issues than others (yes, I have multiple issues), but there is progress!!
  24. In the past, no, so I doubt that it will be any different going on.
  25. Hmm I’m not sure. We’re US, so I know ours will work. I believe but not 100% sure that there’s a plug for a different voltage. We travel with a set of converters, maybe that’s something to bring along.
