  1. Late to the party, watching too much tennis! Here’s wishing you a fabulous voyage and thanks for your updates.
  2. What is the itinerary and yes there are tables for 2
  3. Agree with the above, there is nothing in here for a loyal SS cruiser.
  4. I don’t think you, you will probably be better off with less of the older WCers onboard.
  5. This morning we have arrived in San Francisco and our cruise and the 24 WC has come to an end. Moss Hills has been fantastic, Gilbert has finally retired and the vast majority of the crew have been great. It looks like most of the long term WCers we know and others we have talked to will be giving the 25 version a big miss and will be on GVs instead. We won’t be segmenting on 25 either.
  6. Away from Vancouver on our way to SF with a fantastic crew show tonight
  7. Dinner out in the Bluewater Cafe while the WC'ers eat in a tent
  8. It was good to see you both again. Until the next time.
  9. I also don’t care that she left. Neither she or her staff were responsive to me when I most needed help and understanding. The way that cancellations and major itinerary changes were handled under her watch left a lot to be desired.
  10. Prince Rupert, BC. Huge container port and the railroad gateway to the east
  11. Unfortunately the later tour didn’t get the rapids, but it was a good hike.
  12. The Pommery will probably last into June/July and then be gone.
  13. So what is going on? SS is expanding its fleet and its customer base. Is this some more RCL cost cutting? It’s currently very evident on the Shadow.
  14. One of my friends in the Australian office has just been made redundant after 15+ years with Silversea. Apparently there are others. Has anyone heard about this.
  15. But apparently not in the ‘other place’ where a similar post was removed for being elitist
  16. Where? Just departed, the rain eased early and we were dry for the day. Just starting again as we sail towards Ketchikan. Apparently some of the sniffles and kennel cough onboard have turned out to be Covid. Not sure how many or whether there is more than voluntary quarantine in operation.
  17. Today in Juneau and joined by around 12,000 other cruisers!
  18. Apparently some intrepid guests braved the rain and 4 tender rides to visit our friend today. Total travel time, close to 2 hours!
  19. And what, pray, does this have to do with my thread? And btw it’s behind a firewall.
  20. Hope it snows for you. The hotel has a lovely, open log fire.
