Not true. The Terrace grill station is open every night. On a December 2022 14 day Marina cruise I ate there every night except the 4 nights in the specialty restaurants. There was always something being grilled.

On Marina last December, in an outside cabin, there was no body wash in the bathroom. I asked for it and our cabin attendant brought me a few bottles. Over the course of the 14 day cruise he brought me extra bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and bars of soap. I took all the excess home and now have enough in my home for the next 12 months.

I'm with you. I have a safari in Botswana and a week in Capetown coming up in May, then the Sirena cruise Sept. 2. After that cruise, I'm going to concentrate on land trips. I'm eyeing Japan, Turkey, and Ireland for 2024.

I guess this is the new Oceania. Advertise an attractive itinerary to get people to book then change it after you've got their money.

Another small ship option is Windstar, on the yachts. All of the cabins are suites, with bathtubs and walk in closets. There are no verandas though. Cabins are quite spacious and comfortable. Now that all 3 ships have been stretched they carry 300 passengers. Their cruises are very port intensive. As someone who cruises in an outside cabin or occasional veranda, I find Windstar's prices very high as compared to Oceania. Those of you who cruise in a PH may find their pricing good.

Look on the O web site for the changed port times for your sailing and compare to what your itinerary shows now.

The letter says that shore excursion operations will not be impacted, it does not say anything about hours. O will still run their excursions, they will just be shorter and the price will be the same.

I used Fast Passport Center back in December 2022 when I had less than 21 days to renew passports for an Oceania cruise. I used their Philadelphia office as that is where renewed passports are printed. The visa for some countries can take up a full page. That's why the pages need to be blank. A visa sticker won't be put over a used page.

You are going to have to renew your passports. From the State Dept. Can I get extra visa pages for my passport? No, you cannot. I predict with these new strict and costly requirements that many lines will stop cruising to NZ. Obviously ships are not wanted. Personally, if I wanted to go to NZ I would fly there, not interested in cruising there.

Yes, RCCL is doing the same thing. I may just cancel both cruises and fly to the Canaries for a land tour. I have my new passport and am ready to go. I'm not going to get caught up in admin fees again, I have the drop dead cancel date highlighted in my calendar book.
