    We used the HAL transfer & got to the airport in time. You just spent two weeks on the ship with these strangers, why would you not ride on a bus with them.

    Making Maple Syrup. When the sap comes out of the tree, it's at 2% sugar, Maple Syrup is 66% sugar you have to boil it down.

    The question of tipping seems to bring up a lot, do I, do I not, how much, how little. This is a more North American thing. In Europe gratuities are included in the price.

    I find it hard to believe some people have their gratuities removed from their bill & only hand out tips to crew they see on a daily bases. And they are very rude to the staff at the front desk when they do it. There are a lot of people behind the scenes that make it all happen.

    We'll be there in July on a HAL cruise & we're doing a ships excursion to the Jostedal Glacier.

    I also did not have to verify after the first time, although I did have to remind them the second time & HAL applied it with out asking for verification.
