Celebrity edge- which magic carpet suite is best.

Since your question is ship specific, you should be asking on the notary here for that cruise line - Celebrity. EM -
Which cruise line and avoiding spring break.
Essiesmom replied to Lorenky's topic in First Time Cruisers
Spring break for colleges varies but is not as dependent on Easter as grade/high schools. Those schools will either have break Easter week- berween Palm Sunday and Easter, or the week after Easter. An 8 day cruise will have less children and families as it involves more days off work and school. But go to the websites of the cruise lines you are considering. Check the prices. The higher the price, the more families they expect. EM -
En Route with Hank in Japan and the Westerdam

Nearly all cruises from Seattle go west of Vancouver Island. All ships from Vancouver use the inside passage east of the island. Simple. EM -
I’m just puzzled why, if this is your first Celebrity cruise, Without yet eating in the MDR you need to eat so many nights in specialty restaurants. EM

What reservations do I need to make upon boarding?
Essiesmom replied to skipsaur's topic in MSC Cruises
First, you need to help us out with the ship you will be on. Different classes of ships offer different procedures. The newer the class, the more options. On Seaside class, you can make reservations for the free shows on screens around the ship. Dining arrangements depend on the experience you booked. If Bella or Fantastica experience, your dining time and table will be assigned and printed on your card. If it is not satisfactory to you, you can. Is it the MDR and speak with the Maitre ‘d. If you are Aurea experience you have anytime dining. If you are in the Yacht Club, you have your exclusive dining room. Canr help with the kids club. EM -
My last is a combination of two. One night I booked a 3 day cruise, online. But I was thinking of tacking on the previous 4 day cruise as a B2B. The next day I was called by a rep of the cruise line who had no idea I was already booked, so I went ahead and booked the second cruise. A few days later I got a call from a travel agent friend, and I would have booked another cruise through her if she could have found one that would book a single, but no luck. EM

Longest was 32 days, San Diego to Rome. Second longest 27 days San Diego to Harwich, but it was prefaced by 4 days cross country on A track, and followed by two nights in London, 4 days on Queen Elizabeth, flight to Venice and 12 days on Silhouette.. Third longest Singapore to LA. 26 days. EM

One bridge, Hotel Olympia. There was no elevator to our room. We had planned to go back across Piazzale Roma and take the train/shuttle to the port, but after two days touring, we decided to spring for. Water taxi. EM

Which major cruise lines depart from a Caribbean island?
Essiesmom replied to Lorenky1's topic in First Time Cruisers
MSC and Costa have cruises that depart from several Caribbean islands…Martinique, Guadeloupe…and never call at a US port. Also Do I I an Republic, Jamaica, Aruba….lines you probably haven’t heard of, and speak German…EM -
Not quite a first time cruiser but need advice.
Essiesmom replied to AnnieCt7's topic in First Time Cruisers
Well, I am one and many for Carnival. 21 so far. My last two cruises were on Carnival. I enjoy Carnival, just wish JAX had a Spirit class ship, as I am a bit weary of Fantasy class. But the draw is being able to drive two hours to the port. My advice for. Carnival is to take the longest cruise available, out of JAX that would be 5 days, and preferably the Monday to Friday itinerary. Next, I would do the seven day out of Port Canaveral, rather than 3 days. I have not sailed Mardi Gras because I don’t care for the huge ships, nor the prices demanded by the newest ships. Which is a paradox, because my next two cruises are on an MSC ship from Port Canaveral, both short B2B. But it is quite difficult now for a solo cruiser to book a cruise on short notice. Best I could do is August. EM -
Best months for Caribbean cruise discounts?
Essiesmom replied to AnnieCt7's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
The highest prices are when kids are out of school, particularly around holidays. They are lowest between thanksgiving and mid December, after New Years, after Easter holidays. Prices are not lower in summer because of hurricane season. On the contrary, they are higher because kids are out of school and families can cruise. Do your own research: go to the websites of the cruise lines that interest you, and just look at the prices. Watch them go up and down, and try to figure out why. That way you can figure out when is most economical to sail. EM -
I became a minimal packer after dragging a suitcase and rollaboard across Piazzale Roma while wearing a backpack. Granted, we had already been traveling for 40 days. And I was 69. That was 10 years ago. From then we determined we would only travel with backpack and roll on bag. I still pack this way. If anyone would be so rude as to question how often I wear something, my reply would be ‘it’s my favorite and I try to wear it as often as I can’. But thus far, no one has asked. EM

First, that’s a fairly early flight for Anchorage. When I debarked in Whittier, I had a Princess transfer to Anchorage which did not depart really early, because of the tunnel schedule. On the way it stopped at a wildlife conservation center and alyeska before continuing on to Anchorage. In anchorage we were dropped at Egon center where we could leave our luggage and wander around downtown until another bus would take us to the airport. Granted, this was quite a few years ago, but I’m sure the same transfer is offered. EM

You need to ask your plan provider about Canada. In Alaska, it depends on the availability of cell towers. Alaska is sparsely populated, so likely there won’t be cell towers to connect, and they might not be from your providers. Sailing the Gulf of Alaska you will be too far from land for any tower but the one on the ship. EM

Lots of missing info here. First and foremost, you’re in the wrong forum. This one is for people having technical problems using the forums, not questions about cruising. There are other boards here for that. You need to post this in the forum for the cruise line you are concerned about. How can we direct you, as you didn’t mention cruise line or ship? EM

Maybe yes, because a,though there are two booking numbers, he is their child. EM

Carnival Vista Class Ships Lower Decks

New to the fleet, and 5 isn’t old. EM -
Scroll back a page or two. Someone did a live from on the Europa repo. Actually, it’s on page 6. When looking for threads on a particular ship, you can go to the upper left of this boards page,, and under the Find Your roll call is See posts about, and next to that click on select ship and a drop-down menu will list the ships. World Europa is just listed as Europa. You can do the same on the Costa board, but doubt you will find much, as Costa cruisers don’t have much of a presence on Cruise Critic. EM
