  1. Is this something being offered by Princess?
  2. I suspect you will get a quicker answer if you ask on the Royal board, or on the private islands board under Ports of Call. EM
  3. If you have only sailed Royal, I’d be surprised if you have been to Mahogany Bay, as it’s a Carnival Corp property. Suspect you e been to Coxen Hole on Roatan…. EM
  4. I think that’s long gone. You now get your S&S cards at your cabin. EM.
  5. I have not sailed MSC in Europe, but my experience sailing from the US is that the non-North American guests seem to dress with more care than the locals, and may seem to be ‘dressed up’ for dinner even on non formal nights. A lot of cocktail type apparel. It makes for great people watching. EM
  6. I’m surprised you docked at Mahogany Bay. Better, as there is little but straw market at Coxen Hole. Mahogany Bay is a Carnival Corp. creation. Did you glance at the beach? EM
  7. All is explained over on the Princess board here. EM
  8. Each twin in 33” wide as opposed to the standard single which is 39”. Therefore the bed pushed together is 66”. I carry a tape measure. So the sheets would have to be king flat. Fitted too big or too small. EM
  9. In San Juan you will dock in Old San Juan. Very short walk down the pier. Sorry, I’ve never been to the umbrella street. ‘I also haven’t been to Santo Domingo on MSC, so I don’t know if they go to Amber Cove or Puerto Plata. EM
  10. There seems to be some misconception here about returning to the ship after an excursion. Anyone taking an excursion will tender off in Gatun Lake but will NOT tender back to the ship and pass back through the locks. All tours rejoin the ship in Colon. Only those not taking a tour will repeat the transit of the locks. So the length of time on the bus back to the ship is irrelevant. EM
  11. I booked an ambulatory accessible cabin a few weeks out. I only needed the bench in the shower. It was an inside, and was exactly like the other insides but with the bench. Suited me fine. EM
  12. I tried a dummy booking last week and for a solo it was a couple hundred less than two people…but that may represent the taxes and fees for the second person. But it wasn’t more than double. EM
  13. No formal night on either 3/4 night cruises. Plan on a white night, though. EM
  14. Welcome to Cruise Critic. But you are in the wrong forum for a cruise question. This one is for those having technical problems using the forums. You should be asking this on the board here for Celebrity cruises, under Cruise Lines A-O. EM
  15. I would have the filet simply because it’s the smallest. O way I could do justice to any of the others. EM
  16. Google Grenada Invasion. Oct. 1983. Both ti es I visited and took tours, the guides were telling the story. EM
  17. I’m not sure what the Loyalty gift might be…I can’t recall getting one unless it was the slippers or box of tissues the steward left. On my 4/3 B2B there was a diamond reception on the 4 night segment. When I did a 10 day cruise there was not a diamond reception at all. EM
  18. It can be strange. I booked a 3 day cruise online, then called to add a 4 day in front of it. The one I booked online, I could pay the final online. The one I called to book I had to call to pay. EM
  19. The cruise terminal/dock is being used. Whether that means it is open is up for debate. No idea about shuttles. EM
  20. If you go to cruisedeckplans.com and use the drag deck feature you can see where the lifeboats are/aren’t. You will not be looking down on a lifeboat two decks below. EM
  21. Don’t worry about the picture, they will probably retake it anyway. EM
  22. You can also book the shows on the MSC for Me app on your phone. EM
