  1. Beds are neither queen nor king. They are 66” wide. Both classes of ships. Have tape measure, will travel. EM
  2. Belize is always a long tender ride. Mahogany bay is docked. EM

  5. If this was Princess tour, could you please name and review it over on the Panama Canal board? Pics there not necessary but so many people come there asking about tours, but never come back to tell us how they went. And thanks for the terminal pics there. EM
  6. If you are on the Echanted Aug 9-23, you are the on,y ship currently scheduled in NYC, so 99% certain it will be Brooklyn. EM
  7. I don’t recall seeing buses in either port. Nor bus stops…. EM
  8. I would be doubtful about not getting off the ship in San Juan. I’ve done a B2B with turnaround in San Muan and we had to get off. It might be someone comes on to clear you, instead of getting off. EM
  9. Since some folks seem unsure about how the tours work on a partial transit, today the NCL GEM has been kind enough to give us some pictures of the facility. Unfortunately, she is not running AIS on her tenders so you can’t see where they are docking on the map…
  10. In first lock, Gem to starboard heading for Gatun locks
  11. I think they are becoming even more thrifty with water in the locks. My observation has been that they usually leave an empty lock between ships. But today I noticed a small tanker just next to NCL Gem, and she wasn’t lowering. And another tanker came into the lock behind her. I realized that instead of shifting the water from an empty lock, they were using the water to simultaneously lower the tanker and raise Gem. And when Gem mover into her third lock, the water was used to lower the other tanker as it raised Gem. EM
  12. The OP hasn’t said which Celebrity ship she will be on, but the Solstice class ships do NOT have retractable clothesline in the shower. EM
  13. If you google ‘Carnival Piano bar schedule’. You will get two sources, one maintained by @Saint Greg and the other by Adam Mitchell on FB. EM
  14. I’ll be interested to know what you think of Evrima. I saw her in Nassau and up close I thought her the ugliest ship Ive ever seen. So much matte black, sort of like a sleuth sailor. EM
  15. There are pinned topic here on how to follow, so I would think unchecking things would stop the follow. Also one on notification settings. EM
  16. There is no way to delete it. Just stop posting. Everything will fade into the past. EM
  17. I’m on an iPad using cruisedeckplans.com. EM
  18. According to the deck plan, two uppers:
  19. I believe the prices you see online to purchase pre-cruise are the discounted prices. EM
  20. We’re having a rainy day here in Coastal GA. The garbage truck has come and gone, early. Yes, Monday is trash day for us, and the trash people do not take holidays off. I think some folks forgot, as the neighbors who always have two bins full did not put out any. They have five children…. EM
