  1. Not allowed here as it's a travel agency who sells cruises. Google is your friend.
  2. Just go to the buffet at night. Twice baked hot dogs and mac and cheese 3 nights in a row. The joke was 4 times baked hot dogs.
  3. As Terry said it can take up to 10 days to get that detail added to the invoice. If your TA mailed the invoice right as you booked it won't be there. If you have the retreat pkg listed then you have the perks and wouldn't worry about it. The invoice from your TA should list specifically what you bought from them including the perks and anything they may have added as well.
  4. I used to advise people to NEVER book the cruise later package as if you didn't select a sailing within 90 days the reservation and deposit were still good but you didn't get the extra OBC. With the cruise now you could still get the flexibility by selecting any sailing as far out as possible (generally 2+ years) and book with a refundable deposit. Category or price doesn't really matter as you don't plan on taking this sailing anyway. Then when you find something you want you just move the booking to the new sailing in the desired category and select the refundable or non-refundable rate. They will calculate the book onboard OBC based on the new sailing length/category. Of course if you decide not to sail you can cancel and get your $100 pp back. Even now I still prefer to do the cruise now option. But the cruise later has been improved now giving you a year to select a sailing and still get the OBC. After a year I believe it automatically cancels and you get your deposit back. The other advantage it has over cruise now is that you are allowed to change all the names on the booking. I believe this is a way to do a book onboard for someone else even if you are not joining them on their sailing. Please verify this with future cruises before doing this as I have not done this myself. If you are doing a cruise now booking you can book the same sailing for friends and get the same onboard booking perks for them. I think there is a problem if you cancel your booking though so check those details as well. Disclaimer. These opinions apply to North America bookings only. Terms for other countries vary.
  5. If you have your Celebrity invoice and it has Retreat listed either in promotions or as a line item then you have the 4 perks. I do wish they would clearly identify booking perks in your account under Manage Reservation it would alleviate so many of these questions.
  6. There were new menus in the Sky Lounge which had the Zero Proof Package which is why I'm sure they were newly printed. It still listed Montaudon which is what you are probably referring to which hasn't been available since the restart. Cattier was readily available although they were trying hard to push me to Chandon on the first night in the MDR. When I repeatedly said no they all of a sudden found Cattier. I've had this happen to me on multiple sailings. Our dinner table had a chat with the Cellar Master regarding availability of premium wines by the glass where we got the standard "supply chain" excuse. He said they place the order but have no control over what they get. We sort of called BS as corporation that buys as much wine as RCG they certainly have more than a bit of leverage over their suppliers. One of the people at our table had been served a wine at lunch then at dinner they were out. This was turn over day on a B2B. He later returned to the table and said they were loading 3 cases and 1 case would be reserved for them.
  7. There has been nothing said about Celebrity following suit. Just off Equinox Saturday and the every day items are all there. The only bizarre thing was that Escargot was missing a couple of days and the Sirloin Steak missing 1 day. I think this was on the first sailing of the B2B so might have just been some sort of supply issue. I had the French Onion soup most nights and it was very good.
  8. I was on Equinox in Aug/Sep and just got off from sailing 1/2-1/21. I did most of my speed tests on my iPhone but I did find a couple on my laptop. Both of these were with the premium package In August this would have been as soon as I got onboard. This is the old XCelerate premium package. This is the current data with StarLink. Again the 1/2 number was as soon as we got onboard. Note the biggest change is the latency which makes most things much better experience and I believe you will get this low latency even with the basic package. I was still getting some buffering while streaming although generally just a very short 1-2 second one. During the Captains Club welcome celebration the IT manager happened to stop by to chat. I asked why I was still having some trouble streaming even after Starlink upgrade. He said it was probably weak wifi signal and asked for our room number. By the time we returned to the room we had an access point installed on our counter. It did help some where we had some sessions watching our Fubo-tv recorded shows without buffering but other times still did. Next time I ran into him I said I was still only getting 5 mbs download, he responded that they cap it at that. Frankly I don't think the bandwidth in itself is the problem it's more how they are doing the throttling in my opinion. There was a time while returning to FL from the ABC islands where it was most problematic. We were still able to make/receive wifi calls without a problem. Overall an improvement, just still a bit disappointed.
  9. There is a German website I use for showing available staterooms. On their first page for the sailing they have a summary of rooms. Sold out cabins have the price with a line through. Even though in Euros and pricing for the German market I believe if you see a change here you should call Celebrity and inquire. And yes the Penthouse on this 13 night Connie sailing is available for the low low price of $75,000 if you include the $8,000 refundable deposit upcharge (final payment is next week!)
  10. We were also on the same B2B. We were in the MDR and the menu changes were noticeable with a couple of nights where I didn't see anything I wanted. French onion soup was very good. Take 3 What a group of talented young people. I'd rate them in the top 5 guest performers we have seen on Celebrity. A very unique show. I'd love to see them again. They were onboard the entire sailing and was fun to see them enjoying it as a vacation as well.
  11. It's 2 different sailings and is done all the time. There are no special accommodations made for these side to side sailings.
  12. On Equinox the the first 2 sailings in January in MDR. Had Tournados on the first Chic night on both sailings. Had prime rib on the second Chic night on the first sailing but they must have just been using up what they had left. The second sailing second Chic night they had Lamb Provincial I think it was called and it was very nice looking lamb chops. Escargot was missing a couple nights on the first sailing but was there every night on the second one. The every day sirloin steak was pretty good as well. I find the every day steak can be very hit or miss. There is now pork chop on at least 2 menus. The one I had on the first night was very tough and I wouldn't order it again. Turkey dinner on the last night, the turkey was excellent. I did miss them having turkey in the buffet at lunch. That seems to be a strange cutback as turkey has to be about the cheapest protein out there.
  13. I believe you can request different pillows regardless what class of cabin you have. We request 2 memory foam pillows on every sailing and receive them. There used to be a printed pillow menu in CC and above but haven't seen that in awhile.
  14. Just off Equinox yesterday. Fixed seating is on deck 3 and select on deck 4. The 2 tops in select are as you say very close together. The 4 tops aren't much better at least in the area we were seated as they generally had 2 tops adjacent. There were a couple of 2 tops on the walkway between the port and starboard side on the upper level that were away from other tables but I wouldn't want them as there are people walking by very close all the time.
  15. Just off Equinox 19 days. I consistently got ~ 5mbs download and 2.5 upload. At the Captains Club welcome event the IT manager stopped by to talk. I asked why I was still getting buffering while streaming with the premium package and Starlink. He seemed surprised and said it might be a week WiFi signal. When I got back to the room there was an access point installed on the counter (plugged into an ethernet jack near the other plugs, note to self carry a spare ethernet cable!). While it did seem to help and any buffering I had was generally just a second or 2 there were times where it was worse I guess due to location or weather. I did run into the manager again and commented again about the 5 mbs and he said that's what they have it cap'ed at.
  16. I think with the current cutbacks you are going to have better luck requesting it in Luminae than you will in the MDR. It certainly wasn't on the childs menu on Equinox on the last 2 sailings. The sirloin was pretty good though and on the menu every day.
  17. No this won't be an issue. They just need to explain that the other person is onboard and is B2B and has already been checked in.
  18. If you are on a B2B which requires testing for a subsequent leg Celebrity will test you onboard without a cost to you. At least that is the way it has always been handled in the past.
  19. Nope. They can't be opened. Only ones on M class ship are like someone else stated deck 11 A1's
  20. Here is another place that is inconsistent with the other 2. It would indicate that neither the Classic or Premium packages include Soda, Coffee, Teas etc. That those are only included in the Zero Proof package. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages/compare-packages
  21. I don't understand why bartenders are confused on current sailings? I didn't think the changes went in affect onboard until the first sailing in the new year. We board Equinox on Monday and yes I expect that to be a &*it show. Since the restart onboard staff hasn't been well trained in any policy let alone ones that change week to week.
  22. Unless you are inside final payment you should be able to re-price for cruise only.
  23. Will be following. Doing the same sailing in March, including a post cruise visit to Iguazu Falls.
