  1. Yes, everyone in suites pre-pay their gratuities as they are included in the Retreat fares. Any additional tips given in the dining room are pooled and shared by the Luminae staff excluding the sommelier.
  2. The aft balconies won't last long. Especially if you are talking about FV, snag it now if it's within budget.
  3. Even after final payment they will usually allow you to upgrade category as long as the new rate is at least $1 more than what you currently paid. Not sure of the Australia rules.
  4. Depends on how much they increase the individual drink prices. What I'm finding distasteful is the extremely short notice. I think they should make these types of changes at least 90 days in advance so people can cancel pre penalty if they so choose.
  5. What else did you expect from anything targeted at Zenith?
  6. Many times when they finalize the MoveUp bids the categories are filled, especially the higher categories. The ships are sailing much closer to capacity as we approach peak Caribbean season.
  7. I guess because you upgraded from SS last week to RS this week they gave you more bandwidth!! (Just kidding so people don't get upset). The latency is really good for satellite as well.
  8. $100 pp so if there are 2 passengers you lose the deposit.
  9. It's in the cruise planner "Plan my cruise". I think they are generally lumped in with the internet packages.
  10. I think they used to say 30 pieces for the Captains Club bag specials. As others have said roll it up tight before putting in the bag. It comes back "folded" and generally fairly wrinkled.
  11. And that's where I would get MAD. When I went the the iLounge and they charged me $9.99 for 1 day and $15.00 per day for the rest of the cruise because I had one voucher!
  12. They always have themselves covered. Look at the bottom of the page with the list of packages for the T&C. While I can see where their wording could lead people to misunderstand but it's pretty clear from pricing history it's pp/pd which is a 33% discount from the current list price. 13. Holiday Inn Express Ybor City East. Nothing fancy but clean and the people are very nice. They have a large lighted parking lot where they allow you to leave your car for up to 14 days for $50. We have stayed a couple of times with the car and are planning on staying there in April when flying in even though it's farther from the airport.
  14. I didn't see anything in the order receipt that stated whole cruise. Am I missing something?
  15. Nope but never hurts to submit your reservation info.
  16. Maybe you have to buy one for each day of the cruise. The slot credit is also a pain. It's $55 credit for $50. You can't set a quantity so you have to add them to the cart 1 at a time.
  17. But that's pp right. I believe the $400 difference is their double occupancy price.
  18. Edge class ships have priority for T25. I believe their schedules are arranged so 2 are not in PE at the same time.
  19. I applied for 3 sailings using the online method. It was applied to 1. So a week later I submitted the other 2 by themselves. Within a couple of days I got a response "Booking not eligible". There is nothing strange about these bookings other than they are summer of 2024. I emailed asking for clarification of the reason they weren't eligible. Within an hour I got a request for some details which I provided. 4 days have gone by without a response.
  20. Only in Luminae. I suspect they are trying to present an elevated dish. I agree they should make it clear on the menu. I.ve had several NY Strip (loin) prepared this way that I really enjoyed.
  21. I think they may be reducing the number on other ships as well. We were on Summit in October and there was only 1 concierge and it has a sun deck.
  22. We were told it's prepared "Manhattan Style" so now when we see the rib eye, sirloin, or strip steak listed on the Luminae menu we ask if it's prepared in that style. I have to admit I've really enjoyed what I've had prepared this way but if your expecting a char-broiled steak you will be disappointed.
  23. Nice the unrevolutionized ships still have a table large enough to hold dinner.
  24. There are lots of rates that have historically been impossible to book on celebritycruises.com. The current scheme actually let's you book most of them but prior to a few months ago you had to call for many rates.
