  1. Believe you are sailing on the Enchanted Princess from Fort Lauderdale. Your contacts are in Princess Roll Calls. Below is the link to your sailing. I noticed that the December 8th sailing is the first sailing after the ship returns from Europe. From experience expect a delayed embarkation as the ship undergoes probable Coast Guard and crew immigration inspections.
  2. Everything is handled by Princess, pick up at the airport, transfer to the hotel, transfer to the pier. In our case pier transfers were at 1pm. Early boarding was not an option. Also the transfer stopped at the few hotels Princess was using. Hotels were high end. Pricing is per person. You can almost certainly find equivalent hotels and transfers at a lower cost. You should investigate both ways.
  3. Nice report. I will mention that boarding at each port is a little different, but you should have be provided with all the HCP assistance you required plus priority boarding. "At check in we asked about the priority embarkation that came with suites (and Elite, which my mom also was) and were told that it doesn't apply if anyone in the party needs assistance with boarding-" Something is not correct here. Being in a full suite plus requiring assistance you should have been provided kind double the boarding priority.
  4. Enchanted Princess Aug 5th Rome to Athens Here is your roll call where you will find others on your voyage.
  5. "one credit = one minibar." Not exactly. It does not go by cruise credits since there can be additional cruise credits for full suites as well as single occupancy. It goes by voyage.
  6. No. It goes by voyage number. Your 14 day b2b Alaska cruise was actually 2 voyages. A single cruise no matter how long, example 16 day Hawaii, is one voyage and thus one mini bar.
  7. I can't locate a work schedule on line. 4 weeks is long. It has been mentioned that the docking is approximately half dry dock and half wet dock. Probably some lengthy maintenance.
  8. Travel Summary on the Princess website mentions the below for my plus fare. On the Princess web site OBC is under payments. The Travel Summary access is at the top of the page above payments. SERVICE Plus Beverage Package + Juice Bar MedallionNet 1-device WiFi Fitness Classes (2 Classes) Premium Desserts (2 per day) DND - Free Medallion Shipping Crew Appreciation Included
  9. Seems like you would. It is not a comped cruise.
  10. I see that all the itineraries where the ship docks in Colon show that it departs at 8pm. There should be plenty of time for you to visit the Agua Clara visitors center which is only about a half hour away from the pier. I would check the times the visitors center is open and then also investigate private transportation. I have done this itinerary 3 times. The ship always seems to be docked when tours arrive back to Colon. The time shown for exit from Gatun Lake is just an estimate. The exit is controlled by the P.C. authorities and can vary.
  11. On the Crown the Gastropub is inside the Wheelhouse Bar. There are plenty of tables. No reservations required. You can also eat at the bar if you like. You could just speak with the staff once on board to determine the best times to show up.
  12. I had no problem making MDR reservations on the app for b2b cruises in March 2024.
  13. I was able to book balcony cat. cabins I requested on 2024 and 2025 b2bs using my T.A. I sat there while she was on the phone. It appears that the process would be very difficult, if even possible, trying to do this on line by myself. Certain cabin cats. are gty only. Also on b2bs and those cruises sold as b2bs there are some restrictions on choosing your own cabin. Could you be more specific about the cabin cat., ship and sailing date?
  14. If it is refundable it will be flagged as such. You can use any OBC currently posted to your account to pre-book excursions. If the OBC will not be posted to your account until you board then it will net against any on board expenses including any excursions booked on board. Refundable or non refundable really has nothing to do with booking excursions. Also note Princess' on board accounting system charges on board expenses daily to your folio. When doing so it applies the non refundable OBC first and then the refundable. It would appear that you will have gifted OBC. While I can't say for sure, gifted OBC is generally refundable. Only your T.A. will know for certain because it depends on how they gift it. Your last two sentences are confusing. Any excursions booked in advance will either be charged to your credit card or be paid for by applying OBC that is already showing in your account.
  15. There isn't a single answer. It really depends on how the T.A. obtained the OBC. Go to your booking on the Princess site. Select the payments tab. Under credits it will show your OBC and indicate if it is refundable or not refundable. Many times T.A. OBC is actually passed through from Princess, or it may be from a T.A.s group booking. These are almost always non refundable.
  16. There probably already is a small, low, round table in the cabin maybe around 18 inches Dia. If not ask the cabin steward. If they have one they should provide it without issue.
  17. Many times excursions will offer the option of dropping you off "in town" where you can explore further. You just have to request this from the tour guide. May I ask what port? This might make a difference, but probably not.
  18. Some information: Your sailing is in early December when schools are in session. Probably very few youth on board. The Caribbean Princess holds 3,100 passengers, less than the large RCL ships. Princess Cays is a beach day. There are tenders (water shuttles) that shuttle you to the beach. Shuttle tickets are given out on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to have an early shuttle get to the ticket location early. Notices will be in the daily event paper. Breakfast and dinner is served each day in the MDR. Note that breakfast in the DR takes about an hour. If you are in a hurry you might want to skip the DR. Lunch is served only on seas days. For dinner you should make reservations in the Dine My Way app. All MDRs have the same menu. Other complementary food locations are: On the Lido Deck: The World Fresh Marketplace buffet. Open every day all day and evenings. Never closes. The Salty Dog Grill and Slice Pizza. Open from 11am until mid evening every day. The International Café in the Piazza on deck 5. Serving continental breakfast items in the morning, paninis salads, desserts and other items in the afternoon and evening. Open 24 hours. May close for a few hous during the overnight. Room Service. Also you can order food and drink on the Ocean Now app for delivery to your location on the ship. Your formal nights will most likely be the first sea day and most likely the Amber Cove day. Formal nights are never on the first or last evening. Without causing an uproar, this is a very controversial subject, you would feel comfortable dressing nicely. No need for suits, fancy dresses and such. Special comments regarding the above information: Full suite passengers? You would have priority water shuttle service. Breakfast is a special made to order meal in Sabatini’s. Dinner and Lunch on sea days is in the Coral DR, mid ship deck 6. It is walk in anytime with prompt seating and upgraded service. Reserve Class mini suite passengers? Your breakfast, lunch and dinner is in the Coral DR. It is also walk in anytime with prompt seating. In both cases you, of course, can dine in any other open location. Hope this helps.
  19. Dining You will have Reserve Class (formally Club Class) dining. MDR meals will be in the Da Vinci DR, deck six mid ship. Special entrance is on the starboard side. No reservations. You do not need to reserve in the Dine My Way app. Just walk in anytime and you will be seated fairly promptly. DR is open every evening for dinner and for lunch on sea days. It is also open for breakfast each day. However, as a full suite passenger you are entitled to have the special full suite breakfast. On the Crown this breakfast will either be in Sabatini's or the Crown Grill. I'm not sure. There will be information in your cabin about this. The special full suite breakfast is one of the top full suite benefits. You can also order room service dinner off the full menu. You have to request the menu from your cabin steward. Note that if you do order from the menu the meal will be delivered all at once.
  20. Agree with post #3. Maybe it is balcony wind and overlook issues that caused Princess into the one step lower category.
  21. In the past we obtained Euros and GBP at a destination in country bank's ATM. You can also easily exchange currency at the airport. Airport rates would be higher. You can also order currency at home and bring it with you. I would not rely on passenger services having the currency you require.
  22. No interior difference between the D1 and D2 except location. Normally the higher cat., D1, would be more mid ship. I would say 15604 will be in high demand with its large balcony and slightly lower cat.
  23. Was this the Coral DR on deck 6 mid ship? This is where Club Class used to dine in a roped off section of the DR. Palm DR is on deck 6 aft. Both DR's are open to all.
  24. You might check Journey View on the app. It is close enough to sailing that the day and times should be listed. There is an early and late show. Typically there is higher demand for the early show. Suggest you plan your meal around the timing for the show. You really have to be there around 45 to 60 mins early to obtain the seat that you wish. Bring reading materials with you. Those that have booked the premier fare have a reserved seating section. You still have to show up somewhat early.
  25. No. You would be embarking in Ft. Lauderdale and disembarking in Boston. Passengers are not permitted to sail between two different U.S. ports on a non US Flag vessel unless the vessel visits a distant foreign port. Canada ports are near foreign ports.
