  1. looks like you are coming into RI. Will you be stopping by your summer home?
  2. I guess it depends how much you like the tubs. We aren't huge into them. Last two trips used it twice at the island for fireworks and other trip not at all.
  3. Other than some recent posts about bidding for a YIN and winning at a decent price, even getting upgraded to a YC balcony, the bids are usually not much of a savings.
  4. MSC has suites, non YC. MSC has YC rooms outside gates like executive suites on Divinia and duplex on the newer ships. Royal Suites and Owners are within gates.
  5. We were in Halifax just about a year ago on Prima. We had been there before via driving years ago. This time just walked around and went to Titanic museum. Interesting place. We'll be up that way again in six weeks on a different three letter cruise line.
  6. You should be onboard now. I think I figured it out. Between the stockpile of pharmaceuticals and electronics, you're selling stuff out of your vest by the shops. For convenience of cruisers, of course.
  7. Done a couple in Jamaica. One a small van tour then jerk restaurant. Last time the food cooking one. Very leisurely and nice. Goes to old plantation. Tractor driver tells dirty jokes.
  8. Welcome to CC. I don't know current NCL policy but it used to be no. DCL used to let you which we did once in Nassau with a couple families.
  9. We sailed Sun over ten years ago. Other than the mini suites are best in fleet, ship old style. Did get a good refurb. Buffet dinky. Front observation nice. Sports bar weird hours.
  10. They also mentioned private shopping. Never seen offered. Still on website last week.
  11. We sailed Sept. last year and Feb this year out of US and had bands.
  12. Interesting docking. Watched NCL and others over the years and they normally go farther out in basin and do a more gradual turn then side dock last minute.
  13. In the closet on the upper floor is a door to exit onto 13. Then quick zip up to YC. We usually just did stairs to 15. There are elevators but normal ones that do allow override to YC, not like the YC proper exclusive ones though.m
  14. On Mera, Holas was $17 in February at lunch all you can eat. Best deal around. Waiter gave some guidance on what to share. Even for me, way too much food. Great experience all around.
  15. Two nights? Just a swimsuit. You are fine with that plan. Plus you are from Europe and you have fancier jeans there than US.
  16. Can't say if we've ever been to a Michelin restaurant but we have had their tires on a couple cars. Generally a bit more expensive but also pretty quiet. As far as YC dining, generally very good.
  17. 9 or 12? We were on 12 in February. You can escape room from Batcave on 13.
  18. We sail in under six weeks. Our sailing not many yc open but sailing before, lots.
  19. I found it OUTRAGEOUS we booked DM in YC for past February sailing solo at one person fare. I found it OUTRAGEOUS we tried to book four into a room for five and that was not allowed. We found acceptable work around.
  20. I seem to recall OP posting about this when deck ten news came out. For our sailing last year the Haven sold out in 1.5 days. Best we could get was H5 which turned out to be pretty good except for the creaking. I'd find it hard to believe that they are connected. Has to be something else. We had issue on POA on a longer sailing where butler tried to show us first night how it worked but it didn't and he said he'd have maintenance fix it. Well 2.5 days later not fixed so happen to run into a great VP by pool and it was fixed within the hour. Our Prima sailing was cool and rainy so outdoor Haven area useless. Having your own hot tub would be nice in that case. Sorry for the loss.
