I don't do pre cruise menu checks, but since you asked the menus for our 18 March Apex cruise only show kids menus, vegetarian, exclusive and classic desserts. All four MDRs. Not concerned.
If towel animal are hanging out in our cabin when we return in the evening we look, laugh and destroy. Ends up in the pile of used towels for the next morning cabin cleanup.
Never experienced any of that. I've never called to verify or when on the ship. I've never asked at GS. Our stateroom attendants on the first days we meet has always commented, I see you're are B2B or something referencing we are consecutive cruisers. Are you speaking from personal experience?
We've always asked and have received it. I book over the phone or on the ship. As mentioned #6 it's $50 or $100 per stateroom, depending on the length of the cruise.
Can't wait to get on the Apex in March. So far nothing I've read on the CC Celebrity forum has discouraged us or influenced our expectations. Same as always prior to stepping foot on the ship. Glasses always full while wearing our rose colored glasses. 🍷😍
Not going to happen. Yeah, you'll show those cruise lines like Celebrity who's boss. So you are screwing the people that work hard and provide you a service by stiffing them. You aren't hurting the cruise lines bottom dollar. Nice! You are hurting those staff members a lot more than the cruise lines are by not paying them what the so called higher end cruise lines are paying. No one is forcing any staff member (employee) to stay after their contract period.
Simple. Cruise with those cruise lines then.
B2B procedures can be different from one cruise to another even on the same ship and embarkation port. You will receive a detailed letter in your cabin a day or two prior to your TAD for your specific cruise. Everything will be explained in that letter. If there is a TAD meeting prior to your TAD I recommended you attend that. A lot of good info and an excellent opportunity to ask your TAD questions.
We got them when diamond but gave them back (non suite). We don't wear them. Just ask if you want robes. On our March 2022 cruise no robes in the cabin. Didn't ask.
We use passports. But once on the ship they stay locked in the safe. Our birth certificates are very old and to old to travel. Which I find odd as we aren't old. 🤔
Then the staff at the entrance should respect their employers dress guidelines for the MDR in the evening and do the job they are getting paid to do. 🙄 I sure hope you comment on this issue you have on your PCS.
