I am hoping someone can help with a problem with FCCs. My husband and I received a FCC each as a refund for the Onward maiden voyage. We booked a cruise on Journey which sailed at the end of August. This used just under half of our FCC balance. While on board we booked a cruise on Onward which sails on 25 March 2023. This will use up most of the remaining balance. We have not received FCCs showing our remaining balance after our August cruise. I emailed Azamara repeatedly and finally received a reply today. They state that it is in their terms and conditions that full value of the credit must be used and difference will not be reissued on another FCC. Our FCC were considered fully used and no residual certificates will be issued. This is contrary to what it states on the FCC that if there is a remaining balance you’ll receive a new FCC after you complete the sailing it is used to sail on. I have emailed them again but the balance on our next cruise is due in a few weeks and they have taken a month to reply to my last query. I hope all this makes sense. Feeling very stressed over this as we would not have booked the cruise if we didn’t have the FCCs to use.

We weren’t allowed to do this in Sydney and Vancouver. I think US citizens were allowed to in Vancouver. We had gone through US immigration at Vancouver port.

No we wouldn’t book cruise only as we never use the Elite drinks. They’re far too early for us to have a pre dinner drink. I can’t understand why they don’t have them later for those who prefer to eat later. I can’t imagine having pre dinner drinks from 5pm!

Which cruise are you on? We got a single veranda cabin on the 13th March 2024 cruise for our son. We’re in a sunset veranda on the same cruise.

I’m surprised they don’t mention the transfer on their website as that might encourage more bookings on sailings from Ravenna. We have certainly avoided them as I heard it was difficult to get a taxi from the station to the port. Our cruise in May ended at Ravenna and we had already bought air fare home from .Venice prior to the change of port. Azamara provided a free bus to Venice but the journey was over 2 1/2 hours long and not something I would want to repeat.

We’re actually on the 10 night Spain Intensive on Onward from Gran Canaria to Lisbon. I’ve checked and our Azamazing evening is the same as yours. We’re probably in Seville on a different date to you.

Yes we found the pianist too loud when we were on Journey last month, and as a result spent very little time in the Den after dinner.

We had our test in Athens at midday on the Monday and boarded at 2pm on the Tuesday with no problems.

Just managed to access it. The cost of our 2024 Australia and New Zealand cruise has dropped by about £600. I don’t suppose they’ll reprice it but will be worth cancelling and rebooking as our deposit was £300. Will try to get through on the phone tomorrow.

Yes I’ve been having the same problem all day. I can only get as far as choosing a cruise but can’t get to the prices.

Yes we really enjoyed it. We’re back to a balcony cabin for our next cruise and will really miss the breakfasts. Maybe we’ll get a move up offer 🤞

We disembarked from Journey on 6th September and it was served in Aqualina.

We usually upgrade as we like the Villa Maria and Ned Sauvignon blanc. The Wairau river is ok but like you, not our favourite.

We always pack some bubble wrap so we can bring home oil or liqueurs. Love to bring home some Limoncello from the Amalfi coast. Although we can buy it here it just isn’t the same. We just got home from a Greece and .Turkey cruise and brought home some Greek olive oil which was sold in cans.

We have recently booked our first sailing on an Edge class ship - 11 night New Zealand cruise on Edge departing Sydney 13 March 2024. We normally don’t reserve our times for Select Dining and have never had a long wait. We usually eat about 8pm. We would like to try all 4 main dining rooms on the Edge and wondered if it would be best to make reservations. Would also welcome opinions on the different dining rooms and if people have a particular favourite. Thanks for your help.

When that happened to mine I managed to hold it together with an elastic band until I got a new one.

On our last night on Onward there was a letter left on the bed which stated that we would receive a FCC of $300 because of the problems onboard. I assumed this had been cancelled when we received the FCC for our entire cruise cost.

Our email states that the FCC is because of feedback from the maiden voyage. It doesn’t mention that it is due to the change from Venice to Ravenna which is what we were expecting. Seems strange.
