    Yes, I understand the difference, and we prefer not to be bothered with either. We do our own bookings directly with HAL, either via their website or telephone. Years ago we asked them to note the 'do not upgrade or up sell' message on all of our bookings, and it's worked so far. We haven't received either since then. 🙂

    Have had no recent experience with up sells from HAL. We have a 'do not upgrade or up sale this booking' notation automatically added to all of our bookings. 😉

    Yumm, that pizza looks scrumptious! Notice how the Carnival Celebration towers over the tiny (by comparison) Nieuw Statendam. 😯

    Cheers package? You may be on the wrong board. This is HAL not CCL..

    We don't sail with them anymore either, but my point was, using your logic/criteria (owned by the same parent group), HAL should honor our loyalty level from CCL, but they don't.

    Then what about CCL and HAL (which are also owned by the same parent group)? We're 'Platinum' level in CCL's loyalty system, but only 2-star with HAL.

    Please feel free to do that. Meantime, we'll continue to enjoy them whenever they are offered for one of our bookings. 🙂

    Wow, not even morning coffee? Personally, I'm one that absolutely HAS to have a hot cup of joe in my hands as soon as my feet hit the deck from the bed! 🙂

    Thanks, this is good to know. Then we might be able to enjoy room service meals on the desk with the 'cube' and an extra chair. Was there sufficient room in the cabin for the extra chair when it wasn't being used? It does look pretty tight in there based on photos/videos I've seen.

    We're also on the 3/18-3/25 sailing. I saw you posted in our roll call for that sailing a while back, but haven't seen you there more recently.

    That's nice, but I'm hearing that the sofa/loveseat is not available in inside cabins on Pinnacle Class ships.
