  1. I just use the free WiFi at a bar/restaurant in port. Many, if not most places in the port area offer it.
  2. We sailed to Grand Turk a few weeks ago and you still needed proof of vaccination to leave the ship. Are you saying that is no longer the case?
  3. On my last two cruises I was offered a menu at almost every MDR meal - even when I was holding my phone in my hand.

  6. I am on the Panorama right now, and we experienced rough seas on the trip back to Cabo. They put airline - style barf bags in the elevator lobbies as a precaution, so I assume you can ask for one if you think you might need it at other times
  7. But seriously, don't stress. Roll with it. Everyone who travels knows that stuff happens that is no one's fault and that you can't do anything about. I am on the Panorama right now, but on my last cruise, my inbound flight was delayed so much that I had to spend the night at the airport. I didn't let it ruin the rest of my trip. Now it's just an interesting story. 😊

  10. I am on the Panorama right now. It is extremely windy, which has caused the ship to be behind schedule. There is an equivalent of a 55 mph headwind. I don't know what else I can tell you.
  11. Did they cancel the entire cruise? If not, what type of reimbursement are you expecting?

  13. The goal of every cruise line is to sail full while maximizing total fare revenue. If it is getting close to the sail date and they have a lot of unsold cabins, they are going to lower fares. If they have very few unsold cabins, they are going to raise fares. It's as simple as that.
  14. You actually did not pay for both of them. You paid an additional charge to have your dinner in the specialty restaurant instead of the MDR.
  15. It's going to waste one way or another, either on your plate or back in the kitchen as food that doesn't get served. At least "on your plate" doesn't create extra work for your server.
  16. Agree. As I posted in a different thread, I am Platinum and boarded Panorama last Saturday. My boarding pass was carefully checked at every step of the embarkation process, as was everyone else's.

  18. Maybe it's because no one ever ordered a bottle of Jager on Carnival to sip it in a genteel manner out of cordial glasses. 😁
  19. I would be surprised if they actually said, "freshen up, etc." It is supposed to be "drop your bags and get out" . The entire process should take less than two minutes.
  20. Update : They called people for boarding in this order - Diamond, Suites, Platinum, FTTF, and then zones. It didn't matter what time you got into the building. And starting with allowing us into the terminal, they checked our boarding passes every step of the way to ensure we had the proper priority. And as Platinums, we went straight to our rooms, dropped our luggage, and got out. We passed an officer in the hallway to our cabin, and he greeted us warmly and seemed to have no problem with us being there. In summary regarding the Panorama and Priority: Adherence to arrival time: Yes Boarding in Priority Type order: Yes Priority bag drop-off before 1:30: Yes
