I will be up there in the buffet waiting for them to bring me tea and sandwiches on a little tray at the white linen covered tables.  🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

It will be a LONG wait! 😂 Nowhere did anyone mention “tea service”, “little tray” or “linen covered tables” in the buffet; only afternoon tea.  Buffet, as most people know, is self serve.  Have a wonderful day!

I know what mobbed means.  I mean what is buffet tea?  Never heard of it.  MDR afternoon tea, yes.  Royal Tea in  the piazza, yes.  But tea service in the buffet?

The more specific your comments, the more chance of getting a proper response.

I've seen that but I never thought of it as "tea service."  They put the MDR tea leftovers up there in the buffet after the tea service is over.

    You are 100% incorrect.

We’ve all made mistakes in our lives so, I never begrudge anyone for making an honest mistake!

An honest mistake is one thing but handling an issue by blaming the guest and then the cabin steward and putting the onus on me to correct the issue is NOT the way to proceed.

  4. We were charged for drinks that were included in our Soda package (YES, cans ARE included) and a quick visit to Guest Services quickly resolved that issue.  We were then charged $178 for shore excursions which we didn’t book.  Employee at Shore Excursion desk INSISTED I made the reservations the previous evening using my Medallion.  She said she couldn’t refund the charge until I presented her with the physical tour tickets.  Since I didn’t make the reservations how could I possibly return the tickets.  She then told ME to go see my cabin steward to find out where they were.  I told her SHE should follow up since I had nothing to do with the entire fiasco.  The charge was eventually reversed but even the cabin steward was annoyed at being accused of withholding the tickets.  I check every day now as someone, somewhere is screwing up the charges.

  5. The Mothers Day afternoon tea on Sky was lovely and todays sea day afternoon tea was just as nice.  Ship has 3800 passengers and, although the MDR tea was well attended, the buffet afternoon tea is MOBBED!  Go for the relaxing MDR afternoon tea.

Seyðisfjörður is in Iceland - unfortunately I’m not familiar with that port but the town (very small) is located in a 17 km long fjord.

Sorry, I thought you were a master of ALL knowledge!  😂😂😂😂Thanks for responding.

  7. @hallasmDue to weather conditions we are now heading to Seyðisfjörður.  No time for research so relying on your kindness to advise if this is an early morning on deck sail in as it was in Skjolden and Olden.  Also, any suggestions for a DYI day?  Thanks so much.  Your information so far has been invaluable.  Although the sail in to Skjolden and Olden was in drizzle, fog it was still dramatic.

  8. @Miss G Thanks for checking in via @Fouremco.  I too looked everywhere for the thread which has disappeared for no reason I can think of.  I’m happy to report a technical guy from Telus fixed my issue which he said had nothing to do with the esim but I still think I made a wrong selection during the installation. They claim to have excellent customer service but I have had NO response from Airalo aside from an acknowledgement and ticket number so am hoping the esim works when we arrive in Europe!  Thanks again.

It is also down to personal tolerance and I freely admit I don’t like luke warm food, queues, waiting too long for something or having to hunt for a seat.

I’m with you!  Lukewarm food would be sent back.  Fortunately we don’t drink alcohol and don’t go to any of the bars/entertainment venues so, hopefully, we won’t be impacted too badly with crowds.  Sounds like there HAS been improvement in other areas so hope you are enjoying yourself.  Thanks so much for taking the time to inform us.  👏🏻

I just get frustrated that some people are so 'uppity' on this forum.

Since when did offering a legitimate suggestion become "Uppity" - WOW!

Were the 14 day Norway and Med cruises two 7-day legs?  If it's sold as 14 day cruise, you won't get two credits.

Guess I misunderstood all the posts I quoted.  The cruises I referenced were both 14 day voyages.
