  1. Consider Sonesta Maho. Contact them direct for prices and availability. Have no knowledge of a short “turtle tour”, as this element is usually part of a 4/5 hour tour.
  2. Use…. https://stolentime.com/contact/ or by Email to reservations@stolentime.com
  3. Current Government Website https://mystkittstouristinformation.com/taxis-buses-and-ferries-in-st-kitts-and-nevis/ Note it now includes ferries to Nevis information.
  4. Taxi to Reduit will be about $35/40 per cab e/w for a max of 3 pax., plus tip RB will be very busy, with the usual noise and bustle. PI is slightly less, but still busy. If this is the vibe wished then take it. One’s preference still is NF - A more relaxed, shabby chic, chilled vibe. To assist NF Cocktail Menu - http://nakedfishermanstlucia.com/cocktails/ No doubt CC members will give their recommendations, to assist in one’s decision.
  5. Never taken the RC, but it looks identical to Bluewater’s, except for the price, and the RC very elaborate (but true) description. Walk down the beach to Sunshine’s, for a few Killers Bees. https://bluewatersafaris.com/tour/nevis-beach-getaway/
  6. Suggestion… Don’t get too fixated on which “one” to select as a favourite from C, NI, C and BG before staying. Select them all, but choose which one is first, then in order for subsequent visits. Then one will have a true comparison to pick a favourite. Who knows, one may favourite them all, which will give an excellent rotation.
  7. Does one realise that PI and NF are almost next to each other, having the similar time frame on the same road (Also used by visitors to Rodney Bay, Calabash and Bay Gardens) back to Castries. It’s the North/South i95 of St Lucia Think PI and NF are about 10/12 minutes further than C and BG
  8. Try this… https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/bridgetown-port-28 - Then scroll down and click on Schedule about a third of the way down Bridgetown page. At the bottom of the listings is the tab with month and year shown. Click on this tab and select the required month/year from drop down listings. Can be used for all ports - https://www.cruisemapper.com On header click on “Port” - Insert Port by Name - Select from list - Scroll down - Click on Schedule - repeat the above
  9. The OP stated beach near port, otherwise one would have given https://bluewatersafaris.com/tour/nevis-beach-getaway/ Then take a walk down the beach to Sunshine’s for the attack of Killer Bees.
  10. No idea on the price of a minivan taxi for one’s party, but think $35 e/w plus tip would more than cover it. Journey about 12/15 minutes, but allow 20 for the return in case of very heavy port traffic. Beds used to be $10 per pair. But best to message for private bed/umbrella group setup together with current prices, plus let them know the date, numbers etc. for the booking. One’s custom will be valued. A small gratuity would be appreciated by servers. Outward driver will be happy for a return booking at one’s time request. Driver will usually arrive early to put one’s mind at rest. Enjoy….
  11. Personal preference. Smuggler’s Beach where one will find Naked Fisherman - http://nakedfishermanstlucia.com If wanting an All Inclusive option then consider Cap Maison. (NF is part of the resort with access by general public) https://capmaison.com. - Note the similarities between respective websites 40 minutes by cab, and allow an extra 15 for the return to be extra safe if heavy port traffic. Fare… $45 e/w plus tip Quote @reedprincess Taxis are readily available at Pigeon Island. Whomever drives you there will actually wait and bring you back if you want. Inside the park, 8rs quiet, serene and beautiful - ruins, hikes, Fort, 2 restaurants, bathrooms and lovely quiet beaches. There's a few operators that offer a "beach break" to Pi that includes transfers, entrance fee, chairs and cooler or drinks. May be worth looking at - some St Lucia history and such a long with beach time Yes, on cruise ship days, traffic is murder - only one road north/south from Castries to Rodney Bay - make sure to leave plenty of time to get to)from wherever you may go. 40-45 minutes for PI or Naked Fisherman is not unusual at all. And yes $45usd one way to/from port for up to three people (not pp, per vehicle).
  12. Stay…. Take a front seaview https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/sjubr-la-concha-renaissance-san-juan-resort/overview/?scid=f2ae0541-1279-4f24-b197-a979c79310b0 Private Tour Guides…. Select a guide one would think being a good fit for one’s party https://www.toursbylocals.com/San-Juan-Tour-Guides?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&device=c&network=x&matchtype=&campaignid=19700254481&devicemodel=&adgroupid=&utm_term=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgqGrBhDtARIsAM5s0_koSAQdGCXcx6HKsk1uMFvhHJR2JSrTtVue3ClIs5kTCrNqb0gbMncaAgnVEALw_wcB
  13. S = Ship Crew - Noisy and Rowdy H = Herds T = Towles
  14. Remember, the most busy and S.H.T. populated beaches (close to port) are those where they can walk (30 minutes is considered okay by many), or a very cheap cap ride away.
  15. COCO Beach…. Book in advance… A little further from port, but never crowded, as space is limited, No S.H.T.
  16. One’s best beach choice (close to the port) is a Marriott Day Pass…. Not crowded, no S.H.T. Many thread discussions on this site. Plenty of “local shopping” on one’s return, around the port area.
  17. If wishing to stay close to the cruise terminal for an excellent Lunch, then it has to be Champers. A short cab ride away.
  18. No, but one’s tour driver can drop your party off on the way back to port. Then take cab back from one’s restaurant choice. Cab fare? About US$ 25/30 for either place. Both will call a cab when ready. At JUJU’s the owner may even offer to drive for the same fare. Or, if adventurous, catch the Reggie bus back to town for a couple of dollars each, and for a small gratuity they have been known to drive to the dock gates, or bus depot. Just ask on boarding. Be aware, in USA busses drive in the right side of the road. In Barbados they drive identical to the UK, this being on the correct side of the road. So one will have to cross the main road to catch a bus to town. Both restaurants will correctly direct one’s party.
  19. One will then suggest a walking tour with a “Local”….. Link - https://www.toursbylocals.com/WalkingTourofBasseterre
  20. In addition to these useful suggestions, send an email to one’s TA to immediately register a formal complaint with Cunard In Southampton. Also involve one’s MD in the restaurant, saying out of desperation not knowing where else to go for help, MD’s are “Senior Officer”.
  21. Welcome to CC Explore the town equates to viewing shops, stalls, and a few churches. That’s about it. Take a tour, or head to Nevis with Bluewater Safaris, then walk down to beach to Sunshine’s to be brave with a few Killer Bees. PS Nearly forgot… If a Cigar Aficionado then pay a visit to https://shop.lcdh.com For a slow smoke with a glass of something special.
  22. If dining they have an area where luggage is deposited while one dines, a small gratuity to luggage staff is appreciated. Definitely book dining in advance. However, one previously did leave luggage when not dining, where the fee was $5 per item, and out of courtesy did request/advise in advance. It was recently posted on CC that there was no charge for non-diners, who just rock up, but one has no first hand knowledge of this.
  23. Caveat Emptor Around the port area, there were stalls and shops offering “paintings” etc, purporting to be by “Local Artists”, but originate from “factories” in China, Easter Europe, India etc.. Play it safe, and contact Kate Spencer, a World renowned artist, to see if Kate’s Studio is open for a visit when one arrives, or if Kate has returned to having her own store in town. Special art pieces, all made by hand in her studio. https://www.facebook.com/SKNArtPrints/
  24. As the one who attributed “mongrel” to Anne, can confirm we have seven future Cunard Voyages booked, none of which are on Anne.
  25. If considering a vacation, then can recommend a Bluff stay at Curtain Bluff. Their Beach rooms are also excellent. Sometimes, they have capacity for a day stay, but best to make an enquiry in advance giving stay date. Top class service.
