Was on Journey earlier this month. No limit to the number of drinks you can have. Wifi is for one device at a time, but you can log out of one device, themn log back on another.

It was fairly slow in November/December

I wonder when that happened. We had one on our November//December Journey cruise. It was in Insider, the Cruise Director (Darren Lynton) turned up to say hello and I spoke to the F & B manager about drinks and there were plenty provided.

You can book excursions beforehand, and packages, it’s only dinner reservations you can’t book beforehand.

That’s fine so long as you can get into the port. We would not have got into the port in Dubai without some proof we were booked on Azamara!

They should have sent you it, give them a ring.

Depends on the port. We would have had problems getting onto the Dubai Marina without it. We had to show it at the gate and the guard inspected it closely.

A couple of thoughts - was there not a Cruise Critic get together advertised in the Insider. Azamara usually arranges a venue and provides drinks. Secondly if the waiter messes your order up, or you are not happy with a dish, send it back, or ask to speak to the maitre d. A New York strip instead of a fillet steak is just not acceptable! Fill in your passport information and make sure you have your Boarding pass - Azamara won’t need it, but you may need it to get on the dock, depends on the port. We had to show it in Dubai in November. It will be in your guest pack. If you haven’t had that, it should come either from Azamara if you booked directly or from your TA if you booked through one (TA has to ask Azamara for it)

Making dinner reservations is very easy, but it helps if you go with a plan of which restaurant booking you want and when, with some flexibility in your plan to allow for things like White Nights.

That had changed in October 23, we had no security guys on board and we didn’t have to keep our curtains close. There was no ‘pirate’ drill either. It was our fourth Azamara Athens to Dubai cruise and the only one with no extra security measures.

Alternatively take a copy of your credit card statement showing the payment alongside the screen print of the booked excursions

The Journey was in the med this summer so must have done Dubai to Athens at some point earlier in the year.

Regardless of whether you booked through a TA or not, Azamara should be willing to speak to you. We are booked through a TA on our next cruise but they were happy for me to ring with some queries.

That’s what I read. The R One is fitted with four Wärtsilä 12V32LNE diesel electric engines, each of which produces 4,860kW at 720rpm. They are resiliently mounted to reduce vibration and operate on heavy fuel oil. Oil purifiers were supplied by Westfalia and oil/water separators by Sofrance. With a cruising speed of 18k, the ship has a maximum speed of 21k. The vessel has two Cegelec variable frequency propulsion machines each with a double-winding synchronous motor of 6,750kW at 170rpm, two six-pulse synchrodrive convertors of 6,750kW and two propulsion transformers of 4,300kVA. GEC Alsthom supplied the four 4.6MW alternators, as well as the 750kW motors for the Brunvoll bow thrusters.

Same here, ours has always been in US dollars. If I were you I’d email Azamara directly - I wonder if your TA is pulling the wool over your eyes!

There is no price protection in the UK, but I’m not sure about the situation in Canada, perhaps someone from there can answer this one. The premium drinks package includes several single malt whiskies ‘ Select Cask, The Glenlivet The Master, Destiller's Reserve, Highland Park Aged 12 Years, The Balvenie Triple Cask 12 Years, Laphroaig 10 Years, The Macallan Select Oak’ On Azamara if you want a drink that’s not included you pay the full price of the drink. The difference between the Premium & Ultimate package is that the Ultimate Package includes some better wines by the glass, such as Champagne. You can upgrade at any bar once you’re onboard, you just pay the difference between the two packages (Currently $8 a day pp). If you’re not sure whether you need the better wines you could try the included wines for a day or two before upgrading. The pools are all outdoors.

Quite right, mostly embarkation issues are down to the port staff, not Azamara.
